QUOTE(KrisMas @ Jan 9 2014, 08:07 PM) Yup. That looks good. Btw, you don't use it to 'wash' mfs, u use it as the 2nd final rinse to neutralise any remaining detergent. You'd still need to rinse again with plain water to get rid of the vinegar mix. One tablespoon for a couple of litres of water is good enough dilution already. yaya i meant to rinse with after soaping them lol. sorry typo earlier hehe |

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Jan 14 2014, 10:58 PM) Thanks for the tips. I guess im just too paranoid sometimes, fearing i might accidentally scratch the paint if simply swipe without QD. Was working on a truck lately and it keeps raining and my DA broke down suddenly when i'm halfway working on the hood. Luckily it's just loose electrical cord lol welcome to OCD club =PNow the DA cord is around 4 inches shorter |

yo sifu-sifu, just got myself a DA(china brand shine mate ERO 600). My steps are compunding(meg ult compound) with cutting pad > polish(meg ult polish) with polish pad > polish with finishing pad. Well i noticed the swirls are reduced dramatically lol. Any tips to produce a swirl-free surface?
btw bro Quazacolt lol happy detailing |

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Jan 29 2014, 11:52 AM) Swirl-free = defects free = cut cut cut. Just make sure you don't cut too much. Those scratches that you can catch with your fingernail or water etching that you can feel with your finger...do not attempt to remove those unless you know it's safe and you won't cut through the clear coat. noted! thanks :3 |
