QUOTE(tunasandwich @ Dec 12 2013, 11:57 AM) does it mean that if root d can still update, but the update will loose the root? Then can I re-root safely without tripping knox after update? For rooted user, please turn off auto software update in settingThanks in advance... sorry, noob here Then download the whole firmware and flash it using Mobile Odin Pro. By this way you can retain your root access and update to the latest base without updating the bootloader. And you won't trip the knox counter. If you update via OTA or flash using pc Odin then you will loose your root and updated to newer bootloader which you can't root without tripping knox as of now. |

QUOTE(mervin8706 @ Dec 12 2013, 12:06 PM) i currently at uk mj7 rom can i download the malaysia latest mj7 and flash thru using MOP and retain the root and all my data? Did you updated to UK MJ7 using MOP method? If yes you can use back the same method to flash Malaysia MJ7 firmware and retaining the root and data. Page 1 got guide toward this.In fact both UK and Malaysia firmware are the same, only difference in csc. Just download it for safe keeping purpose. Don't really have to flash it actually. |

QUOTE(mervin8706 @ Dec 12 2013, 12:18 PM) If that's the case, then I believe you are still with the old bootloader. Then yes, you can flash using MOP method because I remember antt00 method is removing the bootloader.Make sure you enable all the 3 options under everroot |

Noobi3, how do you find about lean 1.6? I have reverted back to 1.5 as I find 1.6 drains my battery faster than 1.5.
The bam_dmux_wakelock is higher than power manager service wake lock. |

QUOTE(AndreaPirlo @ Dec 13 2013, 12:24 AM) Hye again...since my last post....I had a crash problem with the samsung default browser...its happen again just now...it happen when im using a multiwindows multitasking watching 1080 mv while surfing the web...its all fine when im with other browser such chrome...which is sad...because samsung stock browser is the smoothes and fastest android browser... I don't think stick browser will crash out of nothing. Although I have long didn't use it, previously I have been using it for a month before going back to my all time favourite boat browser. It is smooth and support text reflow. Maybe you can give it a tryI dont get it whats with all the fuss third party browser such chrome, dolphin is faster than stock...to be honest I can clearly feel tat the stock browser is faster...even in sunspider bench, the stock browser outperform 3rd party browser by a big margin...manage to get below 600 score, compare to chrome 900...(lower better) The main problem with the samsung stock browser is it can crash every now and then...sad..samsung please fix this.. |
