Flash eur version. Current one is 1.6

But I find its a bit batterydraining compared to 1.5

But since it's my first charge so will monitor how it goes. But 1.5 is pretty solid

High chance that your bootloader has been updated as well means no more root without tripping knox.

For rooted user, it's advised to turn off auto software update in setting.

I'm in genting and using 3G to downloadand I constantly getting 200++ to 400++

I believe with 4G will be even better

For rooted user, please turn off auto software update in setting

Then download the whole firmware and flash it using Mobile Odin Pro. By this way you can retain your root access and update to the latest base without updating the bootloader. And you won't trip the knox counter.

If you update via OTA or flash using pc Odin then you will loose your root and updated to newer bootloader which you can't root without tripping knox as of now.

Did you updated to UK MJ7 using MOP method? If yes you can use back the same method to flash Malaysia MJ7 firmware and retaining the root and data. Page 1 got guide toward this.

In fact both UK and Malaysia firmware are the same, only difference in csc. Just download it for safe keeping purpose. Don't really have to flash it actually.

If that's the case, then I believe you are still with the old bootloader. Then yes, you can flash using MOP method because I remember antt00 method is removing the bootloader.

Make sure you enable all the 3 options under everroot

Noobi3, how do you find about lean 1.6? I have reverted back to 1.5 as I find 1.6 drains my battery faster than 1.5.

The bam_dmux_wakelock is higher than power manager service wake lock.

I don't think stick browser will crash out of nothing. Although I have long didn't use it, previously I have been using it for a month before going back to my all time favourite boat browser. It is smooth and support text reflow. Maybe you can give it a try

Yes, some of the zip files are giving me error in downloading. In fact, Gmail app doesn't even allow me to download but it is fine to download it from the Web browser Gmail.

Give it a few charge cycle for the battery to settle down with the new base.

And please install betterbatterystat and post us a partial wakelock screenshot, else we won't know what is draining your battery.

At times there could be the server issue from Google side. Sometime they notify me apps to update but I can't update it, a reboot or wait till the next day then it will be remedied
