Wanam xposed doesn't really works. Just go to playstore and download Note II hidden setting and it will works

Anyone notice if there is any changes to your keyboard? Suddenly today I notice there is 2 changes in my keyboard

I have a new language toggle button (previously the language toggle is done by swiping the space bar) and a new detect text camera button



The detect text camera is pretty accurate and you can use it to capture the text that you want to key in instead of typing it. After capturing the text image, you still can edit it.



I really have no idea when is it updated but I pretty sure this 2 button is not there yesterday

I'm running on X-Note v5.1, and nope, I didn't receive any security update. I remember the only changes I did yesterday is flashing lean kernel but don't think it has anything to do with it.

Can you check what is your Samsung keyboard version? Mine is 4.0

I got the answer but did yours come with the language toggle button? Because I'm very sure until yesterday I'm still using swiping space bar method to toggle the language but I can't do it today.

Noobi3, would like to ask, when you are using abyss kernel, in your does Android OS rank the 1st in your battery usage? (and do you have muic wakelock consume the most of your battery juice in BBS kernel wakelock?)

Previously Android OS is the highest in my battery usage shown in setting (more than 40% and higher than my screen battery usage) and BBS also shows that muic wakelock is the highest in kernel wakelock.

But upon flashing to lean kernel, battery usage by Android OS goes back to normal (average 10%) and muic wakelock disappear from my BBS kernel wakelock

You can always download other region firmware and flash it via pc odin but it will also update your bootloader in that process. This will cause you unable to root your device in future without tripping the knox counter.

If you root it and flash the firmware via MOP method, you still can retain your root and old bootloader and just in case of warranty issue, you can always flash back to our local latest firmware and it will restore your device to the stock status.

Anyway you won't be able to flash the MK2 firmware as it is a Chinese based firmware and you will have lots of FC and lost of mobile data and you can't even use the keyboard

And now the weird thing is the my custom text wasn't saved into the phone dictionary after several time of typing it. Don't know what went wrong. I check the setting of language and keyboard and there it got nothing to do with the toggle button

When I was in Abyss, I also faced many camera issue, after taking a few shots, it seems like the shutter button is frozen. I still focus but can't take any picture or change any mode. Worst thing is if I turn on burst mode, it won't even take a single picture until I have to restart my phone then only it works again. At first I thought is because of my free RAM issue, until you mention about it.

Lean so far so good, battery seems ok but I have to give it a few charge cycle to settle down. But it doesn't have 100++ frequency. I thought you are still abyss so can help me to check it out

But one thing strange about lean, every time I reboot my phone, it needs 2 reboot to full load the system.

Ya, only 2 governor and I'm still testing the ondemandx. Which one you are in? OndemandX or InteractiveX?

I'm still using 2.2 as my highest frequency but lean got built in 1.2 max for screen off frequency

I also lowered down the screen off max to 1ghz

We don't have much custom ROM. The one that I have tried is FH, X-Note and Echoe. I didn't try Omega or Jackaway or others which I find it is not interesting. X-Note gonna have another new update and the developer mention now they will put in the option or turn off the speed meter.

Maybe you can try to play with custom kernel? Lean kernel is not bad.

Btw, would like to ask, if we install both X-Blast and Wanam, will it overlap each another setting?

Note 2 hidden setting is only to help you to enable the sub symbol in keyboard and add a toggle for the camera shuttle sound. The keyboard size is bigger after you enable the sub symbol? Shouldn't be and the size is remain the same.

For non increasing ringtone, you can try using Wanam or in Xposed's download section, they have a module that disable the increasing ringtone, not sure if it works or not but if I remember correctly, Wanam's one work wor

Noobi3 lean kernel 1.6 is out. But I haven't flash yet because I'm still testing the 1.5. Seems good as I still have 55% left after 24hours with SOT of 2hours5min

I see many posted that it is very fast, did you notice any significant improvement?

Yes, after 1day5hours on battery, battery was drained to 9% with SOT of 5hours. Wifi / data on 24/7 and I have many active background sync

In terms of custom rom, I still prefer foxhound and x note. I suggest you try to download foxhound first as x note is coming up with a new and huge update. Better download that time else after flashing it for a short moment then u gotta download a new ROM again. And it is a huge ROM
