I'm on MJ1 rooted now and knox 0x0. How do I update it to ML2? Using the Root De La Vega method? thanks

2 ways, either you flash using antt00's method which he remove bootloader through pc modin

or

download the ML2 firmware and flash via Mobile Odin Pro

You can just flash it with mobile odin pro and use everroot function to maintain root.

Otherwise, there is a ML2 URDLV version in Page 1 Post 9 that you can just flash with PC odin and re-root using Root De La Vega files.

In my system/bin I don't see any bootanimation wor Later go home I download the file and see as I can't open it via company line. This is a one time process?

So means just download and replace the file you uploaded in system/bin and in future just replace the bootanimation.zip in system/media?

I think custom rom will not have this issue. You should be able to just change bootanimation.zip as you please.

elaborating on this a little bit

1. download 3 things
2. antt00 punya trial for ML2 which is perfectly successful (search, don't be lazy)
3. go xda download rdlv files
4. that zip includes the odin
5. boot to download mode
6. attach to computer and attach extracted antt00 zip to md5 and attach to ap
do the rdlv copy reboot delete reboot

What code is this? nothing happened wor

Your custom rom removed factory mode stuff i guess.

What I mean is the file that antt00 uploaded to replace the file in system/bin, not the bootanimation.zip

there's an existing similar file in the /system/botakBIN folder

i just renamed it just incase i screw something up

i changed the permission second time around only then it works (whats shell and whats rooot)

New problem:

sitting below a mini transmission tower if less than 2 meters away blasting radiation into my brains and my phone, i have -68 dBm 71asu (i learnt that -60 dBm is as perfect as it gets)

however i only have 4/5 bars in nova launcher (but full 4/4 in TW)

speedtest reveals 36ms ping, 30down 20 up
