Actually you can consume all file formats without a problem as long you're on android and are able to access the play store or the very least able to install .apks.

HTC for better build quality, LG for better customer service. Both usually lacks internal storage and comes with un-removable battery.

Yea i just get my note2 Ori 2 days ago.
Anyone know samsung galaxy note 2 will cut off electric when phone fully charged? My phone seem won't cut off electric even 100% charged and no notification sound when battery full. Is is same to all of u? Im using stock rom =D

At least LG does on the spot replacement while Samsung have to wait a few days.

Guys, really need a big help here, my note2 after use for 1 year and yesterday suddenly it restart own self and now stuck on the boots screen, it can't ever enter after I plug out my phone battery

What I do last year is just rooted and recover phone for add more apps into the multi window only, is that possible stil keep all my data as I didn't backup my contact =(

For ur information this phone stil using the old jelly bean firmware

It's just SDS IINM, and while it effects most Samsungs, I do know for a fact it doesn't happen to ALL of them. You have to be pretty lucky to get a long lasting unit however lol.

Even though producing phones with defective eMMC is suspect all in it's own, you must understand that all manufacturers are guilty of this "issue" to one degree or another. It's called planned obsolescence, and it's how manufacturers ensure that they get steady yearly profits.

Though Sammy IS very good at it, I have to say. Does anybody even notice the fact that our prized AMOLEDs have a very short life span and degrade far faster compared to normal LCDs? Hmm?

To be fair, the only phones manufactured to last years were the old Nokias and BlackBerries and look at where THAT got them as companies - one of them is completely dead and the other slowly bleeding dry. Looks like good engineering does not always equal good business.

Which brings us to the sad truth: That 90% of people out there are more interested in getting shiny new features every year than getting a phone to last years in the first place.

I bought my Note2 from Maxis with 2 year contract , but i remember maxis only offer 1 year warranty    I asking around here , to replace a motherboard need RM800 , i feel that i can use the RM800 to get another better phone  rather than the note2

Well the are varying levels of eMMC corruption leading up to full blown SDS ("critical" level corruption) like what your friend experienced. In the case of "heavy" eMMC corruption,  you could still turn on your phone but it will bootloop after the "Note 2" startup screen and no amount of reflashing ROMs can save it.

This is what happened to my old S3 and yeah it ended up getting a full board replacement because if it, thankfully for free since I was still under warranty. Not that it mattered much since I dropped and broke the S3 a few months after that anyway.

I'm planning to perform an downgrade to 4.1.2 officla build via ODIN, is it possible with the KNOX Bootloader thingy?
