I wish someone can list down step by step how to root official stock 4.3 without trigger the knox..I did read the post at xda-developers but too many information.....

I would like to ask, is it possible just to flash new custom kernel with stock ROM? Kernel will trigger knox?

Yes, it will keep running at background even you force close it...if not root, the only way is uninstall updates and disable it...

for me, my wife using note II too...It is more than enough for a girl daily use...why need to root it or install custom ROM? anyway, depend on the user usage pattern...if heavy user, then might consider root and custom ROM...

(a lot of female users even don't know about 4.3 update....and they don't bother if their phone is good enough for daily use)

ya..forget to say, I will consider to root and install 4.4 custom ROM for my wife Note II if there is a statement announces that Note II won't get 4.4 update in the future...

It is not normal if the prompt for sim service always appears after each restart...I thought it should auto-detect and auto-setting...

Even I change from maxis to digi, after put in the new sim card, the first time booting also don't have this message...

Very easy to troubleshoot....just borrow other people sim and put into your phone then you might know whether is sim problem or phone problem...
