indeed, a backup will save a lot of time, will give it a try when V5+ comes in, but headache when flashing to try new rom, lots of things to setup and apps to reinstall back...
but there are a lot of rom with Note 3 + S5 feature like DN3, phoenix, JellyKat, hmm might give a try on jellykat, as sanderz says that he is facing a bit issue with facebook app when posting status on DN3 rom This post has been edited by lamjunrong: May 22 2014, 08:43 PM |

QUOTE(Arzwart @ May 25 2014, 01:34 AM) DN3 v5+ that still in progress will get aroma installer and can choose lite of full version of KitKat N3+S5 going for Phoenix? i was on it a few days ago, and the thing that makes me opt out is because it eats up a lot of ram.So you can opt some S5 stuffs you don't want. I bored waiting for V5+ to be ready.. Trying Phoenix rom 18.8 for this weekend. I restart the phone, clean dalvik cache, freeze up a lot of unused apps, the ram usage is like 1GB to 1.2GB, for no reason and like open up a few social media app, it straight go to 85% of the total ram usage... maybe this is my case, phoenix still a good one since the beginning! one thing to ask, I have the S Health app, but the pedometer is not working, is it lake of hardware on my note 2? or how is the pedometer in S Health working? |

QUOTE(sanderz @ May 25 2014, 12:56 PM) Lack of hardware la. We don't have heart beat sensor like at the bottom of S5 lens or beside the LED flash light. pedometer as in measuring how many steps you walk in a distance, guess nothing to do with the heart beat sensor i guess? since ported from S5, just wanna give it a quick try |

QUOTE(Arzwart @ May 25 2014, 08:46 PM) I wonder why people worried about ram. I don't mind if ram usage is high. What I don't like is lag while playing high fps games. wonder when android phones gonna have good ram management like WP8 or iOS, no need to like clean cache or ram everytime... For now pheonix rom v18.8 is smooth. Dislike the boot .img , flash it with S5 boot .img ^ ^ Note 2 doesn't have the hardware for pedometer. btw, mind share how you flash or install the boot.img? thru odin or TWRP? i really like the colorful S5 boot hmm, then i can 'happily' remove the S health, tot can put it into good use |

QUOTE(sanderz @ May 27 2014, 10:44 AM) So far I har no problem on v5+ now. Is just battery drain quite fast. Maybe is the first time after flash, might get stable back after few charge cycle. What I like is that they use theEni button as recent app button, so no need to long press home key again! Mind share what bug you notice, maybe I missed it edy. |

Trying CM based rom, Android 4.4.3 version AOSB rom
the new update to the stock camera is a very big plus, can take 360 degree photo and the lens blur effect and able to customize CM theme and ease in changing boot animation |
