If you can still find the SNote folder in your phone storage, then it's still there, just missing the S Note to open the files.

If you cant find it, most likely you did a complete wipe on the internal storage. Then it's all gone, unless you back up or sync your notes to Samsung account or Evernote, which you can retrieve back just by downgrading to modified stock firmware.

My DN3.1.1 acting weird after I installed Fleksy keyboard. Im suspecting it because its the only thing I use regularly. I have removed it and clear dalvik cache to get rid of the problem.

What happen is that the phone often get into a state where the touches wont register or the menu button simple dont response at all. After a restart, it will be ok but the problem returned after few hours. Just cleared my dalvik cache yesterday as well as removing the new Fleksy keyboard and no problem so far. Not sure DN itself is not very stable or Fleksy is leaking memory.

I did back it up to my Samsung account , however I think I did wipe the internal SD cause all my photos are gone along with the backup ( the one with 4.1.2 just after rooting ) sooo , where can I download the modified stocked ROM yea?
Thanks in advance smile.gif

The very same place you downloaded your omni ROM, xda forum. As long as its modified stock with Samsung features in it, it will have S Note app.

Not sure if there any complication downgrading from 4.4 to 4.1.2. Should be fine if downgrade to 4.3 modified stock ROM. Right chuahcs79?

It seem like my problem with DN3.1.1 continues. I have to restart it everyday. Need to downgrade to modified stock rom.

ARHD is best choices now other than 4.3  brows.gif

Downloading now...

Actually, I still cant get used to the Note3 features. Or more like I dont need it at all other than showing off Note 2 can do the same thing.

I used to prefer webkit browser but lately Chrome has gotten so good, that I totally abandon webkit. The only thing I really like was the new S Note app. I like how I can pin a Notebook and keep using that one instead of creating a new one again n again. The preview also makes life easier.

I actually managed to import all my Notes (written on my Note2 SNote) back from Samsung account with the Note3 S Note. Therefore I think we all mistaken that Note2 notes cant be restored to Note3.

yeah agree,
i dont use most of the note 3 features as well
plus i will be staying at ARHD till new ARHD with 4.3 appear or newer kernel rom better than current dn3 or phoenix

did figure out how to skip music with volume button on 4.1.2 ARHD with xposed installer & tweakbox

ARHD has been stagnant for quite sometime.

ARHD is quite smooth.

Really find it more comfortable using back Note2 original firmware. However, I still find it weird that those deleted SNote still remain in my Samsung acc instead of being deleted. Hate to organize everything, everytime I wipe user data after flashing new rom.

Where is Samsung Apps? Oh dear... have to manually download n install Photo Editor.

Just got back to official XME 4.1.2 from Dr. Ketan's 4.3.

I think I'm gonna skip custom ROMs for a while, as I need rock-solid & reliable system for daily usage. Most custom ROMs still got random freeze & FC. (May vary for diff users)

As for Knox, I am very confident the guys in XDA will overcome this. They always have, damn good cookers.

OTA always checking for update but no prompt for one, I gave up KIES long time ago.

Itchy to flash this right away. I think got nothing to lose anyway hahaha.

No need stock rom. Try ARHD as per Eiraku and Chuahcs79 recommendation. Its really stock but really smooth.

joytest just asking, im on DN3 custom rom v2 and using umobile. Whenever i try to reply to centre number like those 28218 for example, my reply always crashed and the message cant send out...is this rom issue or telco problem? The error message came out was "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped."
*
Are you sure you're on v2 because this problem affects v3 and not v2. V3.1 solved it though. First time sending operator SMS will ask for permission.

im now on DN3 v3.1.1 latest rom. i got my SMS FC fixed but i got one issue on the contact. Last time when v2.0, all the contacts right hand side will show a dialer icon where i just press it, then it will call automatically. But in v3.1.1, the icon is not there... rclxub.gif how to retrieve the dialer icon which is next to every contact no (located right hand side)?
*
You can get it back by editing csc. Just need to add a couple of lines.

Just search XDA forum for it. Quite lazy to find it since I stop using DN.

There is no fix. Unlike S2, Note2 does not support AppToSD by default. Therefore it simply dont work.

thank for the tips. but sorry to say I can't understand. if possible clearer explain it on noob term.

LOL... care to read first page?

The simplest term is:-

1. Download firmware from Sammobile
2. Download Odin
3. Shut down your phone
4. Press and hold Vol Down + Home while power up
5. You will see a green robot... Press Vol Up to continue (ignor the Volume Down to reboot)
6. Phone screen says Downloading...
7. Start Odin
8. Connect phone to PC and you will see Odin display COMxx (xx is number)
9. Select PDA and point to the firmware you downloaded.
10. START and PRAY no POWER OUTTAGE

Just remember dont tick anything in the left colume... If you ter'tick then good luck...

I am wondering, to get Note II or Note 10.1 with similar budget I can afford.
*
Note 8.0 better. Not too big, not too small.

Personally, I find text on the bigger Note 10.1 hard to read. Unless you get the newest one (2014 version) which cost RM2k, which comes with a 2560x1600 screen.

I see.... hmm.gif but from the gsmarena, since I concern about its RAM & its camera pixel, it seems Note II/III > Note 8.0 hmm.gif

Note 2 and 8.0 have same spec except for the camera and screen size (oh, and panel too... AMOLED vs PLS)
