Finally finish downloading and flashing stock firmware. Maybe I haven't play with 4.3/4.4 for a very long time, feel very refreshing.

Screen colour a bit saturated compared to ARHDv19. Font a lot slimmer but looks much sharper. l think the pen recognition keyboard is so much better this way. No regret. Still need to play around to see other charges.

l thought that the manual was well documented.

If you dont need the S Pen, there is absolutely no reason to buy Note2. You can get quite a lot of good phone if you wait for right opportunity. Every now and then you would see people selling Z Ultra for 1.1K or slightly more. That is a Snapdragon 800 SoC in there. You dont even need custom firmware with these to feel the smoothness of the extra processing power.

Samsung is going downhill from here on. Competition has finally caught up due to Qualcomm. Yes, previously, I would recommend Samsung without a doubt because they give the best hardware your money can buy but now, their SoC is next to dead and the only thing that stands out is their S Pen (or even AMOLED screen).

Just saw on Soyacincau that Samsung is offering 1240 unit Note3 Neo for just RM850. Now this is more worth.

Its 3G only like Xiaomi Mi3.

I think Samsung is responding to Xiaomi threat.

After updating to 4.4.2 firmware, I think can safely say it does reduce power consumption somewhat. I have never gotten 4hours with stock firmware, but today I managed 4 hours SOT with updated firmware.

Have to download whole firmware from Sammobile. Previously using ARHDv19. Not rooted.

How old is that set?
25 times only? Seriously doubt the accuracy if >6months old.

Note2 really give Samsung the biggest headache. Most refused to upgrade or switch to a rival brand.

Testing Mi3 now... going to dump Note2 to my mom.

Personally I never quite like DN3. Too much functions at the expense of stability. At first is OK OK. Then the nightmare starts. Sometimes customers calls won't even come in. That was the last straw. Once restarts, all those emails, miss calls flooding in like crazy.

All those Note3 functions already make it unstable. Now add S5 features.
