u use canon too? can give the review here between 5d mark iii & d600?
*
dun need much comparison. just get the 5dm3. whistling.gif
d600 beats 5dm3 in terms of Dynamic range. other than that, 5dm3 is a better cam.

Hi all, can anyone recommend a durable camera bag which is big enough to fit a camera + lens, spare lens and a tablet? I'm stuck on deciding to go with Lowepro Event Messenger 250 Messenger or Vanguard UP-Rise 28.

I'm open to other suggestions too smile.gif

Lowepro messenger bags are very nice looking especially the newer ones ...

thinktank retrospective 10?

Just too bad I didn't / couldn't bring or use any flash or strobes since that will interrupt the main photog work.

Thanks, the tone can be easily done with http://www.google.com/nikcollection/

Just checked out rain little's photos. To be honest, I haven't done much portraiture before sweat.gif But I believe the colour tones can be achieved with the Nik Software too.
Yup, low contrast faded shot. Done with http://www.google.com/nikcollection/ brows.gif

thanks biggrin.gif
would like to ask is it sufficient for me to get the nikkor af-s 35mm f/1.8 dx?
Usually for taking some close object (as in not mountain not sea loll tongue.gif) and potrait...
I have 18-55 kit lens now
*
for DX, i think the 35mm is a great lens. Vy sharp and can get good bokeh. i prefer it compared to 50mm.

For cods around klang Valley you can deal with yannick,  many of us have dealt with him before..

For local shops i either go to J1 at amcorp

Or

YL at jaya33
I heard j1 has switched owner but im not sure about that.. I have the perfect set of lenses hence have not been buying any lately haha!

Thinking of selling my 35mm 1.4 though
*

Currently using 50mm prime, but the result after shooting, i found out it is very hard to shoot especially in door due to space limitation. No doubt for portrait shooting, the result is good but it becomes problem if i wanted to shoot subject with background. 35mm prime will it overcome the problem or go for 17-50mm?
*
i like the 35mm .. 90% of the time, i'll be on my body, instead of my tamron 17-50mm 2.8.i like the angle of 35mm compared to 50mm bt it's just my opinion la. urs maybe different..

Ya i got what you mean, you got 2 memory cards of 16gb each and one is your primary and one more as backup. 16gb enough? RAW file takes up a lot of spaces...
*
quite alot space too. bt that makes u think twice before pressing shutter? get 4 cards instead of 2 lor.

QUOTE(neohwengtart @ Mar 8 2014, 12:26 AM)
Initially, I purchased a D7000 body with the 50mm f1.8D lens, the reason I choose because it is claimed as a great street photography lens. But after using it to shoot the daily routine of the family members, it got the space limitation issue as the photo was taken in door, some space only allow me to take half the body but i was intended to take a full body with surrounding photo.. Thats why i searched for internet and came across with the 35mm lens images...
*
yeah bt 50mm 1.8D is a great lens for its price. good for street photo if u like a little of telephoto ..

I agree with u... Just indoor issue lo due to space tak cukup... But i wonder is it 1.8D and 1.8G for 50mm got such a big different?
*
no idea. bt i fine 50mm 1.8D to be fine with mine d610. not to say vy sharp, bt acceptable.
