Okay my friend lend me his D300 and tammy 17-50 vc and whoaaa...really noise the lens when focusing. Earlier today tried during my client meeting damn loud

Luckily brought 5dmk2 with 24105 so end up shooting with that the whole meeting since its quieter

Guys, am planning to buy my first DSLR... Been searching online for quite long time but no clue on which model to choose. Can give me some suggestion?

Thanks for the suggestion, for D5100 the lens of 18-55 is it enough, I prefer in shooting animals and scenery... occasionally human portrait may be... Because I read through the members previous post, some they suggest for new shooter to obtain a 18-105 lens, but for model like D5100, i search in lowyat garage sales, it only come with 18-55 lens...
or better choose for D3200 18-105 lens...

In a meeting its really noisy (for me la ) but if use on everyday situation should be okay i guess

Still, photo editing is so common nowadays that sometimes its even considered as part-and-parcel of photography. Definitely worth learning if you ask me, it will help you improve your shots and  your skills~

Sifu sekalian, just now i went for buying session for nikon D3200 but not buying lastly because the shop owner told me the lens with easily get fungus in the aircond room.. I am currently rent room and the room is aircondition... Help... If i buy mean lens will easily get fungus? Any way to solve it if i wanna buy?

i tried wit my new sigma lens which i just bought also the same problem aiksss....

obps... should be mid range. currently looking at X100S & X-E1 /2. But, if used D600 price is right. maybe will go for FF. I would love to stay with Nikon.

Um... I think there's no best way in shooting something, because each people have their own preference in shooting, some use long some use wide, 50mm on crop sensor is pretty limited for landscape too I think..

I think my advice would be ... look up on tutorials in how to shoot portraits or landscapes, rather than with a specific 50mm lens...

Oh and this ..

Err... Or the best way to shoot for example portrait, landscape using 50mm prime lens? any? I searched online but seem so hard to find one...
