Well, I went to Ecosky for VP last weekend. While waiting for the lift to my unit, I saw a neighbour moving in with his bedding sets. I thinks he must have a defect-free unit since he can move within the first week of VP!!! I hope the occupancy rate will be at least 30% after 3 months of VP since no major rennovation is required. After checking my unit, I would say the workmanship is above average. Just a few minor defects of the finishing smile.gif

Ecosky is a GBI building and probably score QLASSIC point. Therefore the quality should be too bad, I hope.

For those who has obtained the keys, any prob with the Lifts? Are the provisions in accordance to S&P and marketing? got curi ayam? Fire protection system all done and ready? haha

Only basic furnished with loose furniture plus lighting, fans, air conditioning, TV

Some wall paper and wall painting actually will help alot...
*
I am not a fan of wall paper. Wall paper is plastic based materials and can burn furiously along the wall horizontally and vertically. It may look nice and easy to play around to change the outlook. But the hidden hazard is critical.

While moderating Setia Alam forum, I have a friend who had his house almost burn down totally. Apparently fire originated from power socket and spread along the wall paper. The smoke and toxic fume generated from wall paper (plastic based materials) can cause a lot of damage and potentially kill the occupants. Thank god his family is not at home. The risk is real and apparent. I would say think twice before considering installing wall paper.

30% within 3 months is surely not possible. My guess is probably 10-15% maximum.

FIrst 30-45 days - collect keys and deal with defects
46-75 days - Minor renovations and start planning to move. We have CNY in mid Feb plus other public holiday.

Moreover the profile for Ecosky is more inclined to investor rather than home stayer/upgraders. It may take awhile to fill up.

think the last time was for 288 residence in setapak.

anyhow, for lowyatians to 6c6c.

apparently many owners seeking tenant/subsales liao.

lai lai lai.

rumoured asking prices:
rental RM2.50psf thereabout for ff
subsales approx RM750psf

Very nice. congrats.

On a side note, the KTM is very very bad now with extremely frequent delays/cancellations etc compared to 1-2 yrs back.

Not bad on the unit finishes.
A bit disappointed with the Sky Roof Garden, which the view is disturbed by the giant steel structure column, cannot really enjoy the panoramic view.

for highrise, when you do proofing, your lower floor neigbours will know if there is any leakages.

you should ask yr upper floor neighbour to do his/her proofing so that you know what to look out for.

You are back....in a good way.

My sis in law collected her keys, but I didn’t manage to go with her. Will give my feedback if I make it there
