just flashed 4.4.2 CM11 official..

quite fast and smooth

but there would be a problem restoring sms to hangouts app (rom dependant/version of nightly dependant) so depends on your luck..

12/15 fixed it tho
12/14 got bug restoring



dialer is awesome
camera is fixed (tried 4.4 then 4.4.1 and 4.4.2... 4.4 camera really too much noise but 4.4.2 no more)

1. backup TA
2. backup your data (images, videos, whatsapp, other important stuff)
3. backup your SMS

A. flash a 4.3.1 rom first -> download pacman rom (http://pacman.basketbuild.com/index.php?dir=main/yuga/nightly/) - download the latest nightly can already..
B. gApps (optional, but if you'd like. PA's gApps can already)

(not sure why but if you directly flash 4.4.2 from stock, it will not boot due to the system partition still having stock rom, but apparently pac-man is able to overwrite them to AOSP-based, so you can flash 4.4.2 after that)

i would say just go with CM11 4.4.2 12/15, at least i can restore without any problems (default sms to hangouts)
then you can install xposed and have all the other AOSP features

you know how to do all the rest? unlock bootloader, etc via flashtool?

also rmb, have custom recovery + root WORKING FIRST on your stock rom. (that way you no need to go through the trouble of flashing boot.img through fastboot in ADB shell mode)

just unlock BL -> flash custom AOSP zip

and make sure you flash everything correctly (lol, got 1 user in xda accidentally flashed samsung rom on his Z, phone permanently gone liao)
