QUOTE(kahjye91 @ Jul 18 2011, 02:40 AM) Nothing lol. Different hostel, different people who will manage you guys. In this September, you guys are super lucky, cos the orientation week has been shorten to only 3-4 days (instead of a week). So most of it will be briefings about this and that only, no weird stuff. No worries. |

My cousin is applying for "mentor" position in the uni, hope she gets it!
Added on July 18, 2011, 2:59 am QUOTE(kahjye91 @ Jul 18 2011, 02:58 AM) Because, if it's not shortened, then cuti Raya becomes too dang short, then people will complain oso. Thus, it's been shortened. This post has been edited by hirano: Jul 18 2011, 02:59 AM |

QUOTE(yui91 @ Jul 18 2011, 06:22 PM) how's the dress code anyway? can we wear short sleeves with colar for formal wear?? or must wear long sleeves every time? heard that the dress code in uum is quite strict.. Are you a girl or guy?normally short sleeve with collar is okay, but make sure it's baju kemeja type (not polo shirt). If guy, make sure wear tie. For girls, must be the formal shoe type or sandal with tali one (must not look like a slipper). For ko-k, 1st semesters, ready your white t-shirt with collar and white sport shoes. |

btw, even if you don't join any sports club, can still play kayak, go-cart, use swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, etc. Just need to pay small amount only for go-cart and sauna, others not sure.

QUOTE(kahjye @ Jul 18 2011, 11:35 PM) ya, I never played this oso, want to try someday.QUOTE(yui91 @ Jul 18 2011, 11:35 PM) yaya...saw some pictures and found out that uum is quite big.. Quite big, yes. You'll be tired walking from places to places when you're not used to it. Afterwards become okay dy.btw heard ppl said the water supply there is not sufficient?? Water has been a problem for years, but this is mainly for hostels inside the campus area. For Kachi area (DPP bank rakyat and DPP SME bank), this problem rarely happens. So come apply to stay at kachi!! |

QUOTE(yui91 @ Jul 18 2011, 11:49 PM) I'm not sure how students there countered that. Either they bring their own pail and carry the water themselves or what, i dunno. Have to ask nazq or somebody else for this. But this dont always happen, only sometimes. This post has been edited by hirano: Jul 18 2011, 11:53 PM |

QUOTE(yui91 @ Jul 19 2011, 10:28 PM) do we need to open an account in bank islam first before we enter uum or after enter uni only open?? Hmm for me, I opened after I come to UUM. But you better call the Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) unit to confirm about this.In any case, there's a Bank Islam branch inside the campus if you need to open it yourself. |
