QUOTE(xiong_mau @ Jan 15 2011, 10:53 PM) hey! I'm done with the orientation programme.. overall! I really love UUM! I love the "Hutan" and all those animals involved. \ I got DPP Sime Darby. Why so far? Come to Kachi. Have you managed to be familiar with the way to go to places around campus yet?

QUOTE(xiong_mau @ Jan 16 2011, 02:12 PM) I wanted to see kachi. my friends said got a lot of monkey.. XD but when the time comes. I'll go and visit kachi.. I've walk from the tasik to mall and DKG 2 for my Ko-K.. i walk referring to the map behind of my door.... heheheheee~ Why yes, it's natural zoo here, around 5-7pm. Will be very funny when you're the one getting chased by the monkeys, lol. But unlike my past college, there's no wildboar here. QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 16 2011, 04:29 PM) Kachi got ghost lol That one SME, block H. This post has been edited by hirano: Jan 16 2011, 07:00 PM

I queued up for add/drop for almost 3 hours this morning, but still haven't been able to get the subjects yet. Classes full. I'll try to see how thing goes again tomorrow. QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 18 2011, 12:24 PM) Rumors going around that the uni management seems want to make DPP classification I think. From what I heard there are DPP for university athletes, DPP for student kebudayaan and DPP for bright students . Which means maybe next semester I couldn't stay at my current DPP... I heard rumor about the DPP thing too, from MPP's fb. Very stupid thing to do, if you ask me. Got DPP for bright students, then what? Will have a DPP for stupiak students too? The bright students will teach other friends, and athletes on various DPP will create healthy competition. This is how there'll be improvement. Certainly not by this "classification" thing. And I don't want to leave Kachi either. This post has been edited by hirano: Jan 18 2011, 01:26 PM

QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 19 2011, 11:19 PM) And today I talked with a fella in my class, and he got transferred to Kachi from Sime Darby. Apparently he is quite furious about it, and have submitted the request to change DPP. Well, from my POV though, its better to have your own transport if you're staying there. Those problematic or without/very few SIRA, I heard they'll get transfered from campus DPP to Kachi (and vice versa). Well I'm just lazy to move my things if I get transfered anywhere else, plus there's rarely water problem here and slightly bigger room.

Yeah it's already confirmed by MPP that it'll be very difficult to apply for car/bike's stickers, saying that the applicant needs to have 80 SIRA points. But the one I really went WTF is that all kereta sapu will officially be forbidden. Such troublesome thing.
The MPP are truly being a "yes man" type of people. I don't think they ever fight for the students' benefit.

QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 24 2011, 05:08 PM) OK, I'm in cafeteria right now. Let's see in the future if students really do this. But really, is the UK have the time to do this - watching students everytime, everywhere? That 'wear-matric-card-with-lanyard' thingy is nonsense. As long as students bring the matric card it is OK liao. Is it official yet? Reminds me of the story from a blogger who used to study at UiTM - he kena saman while drying his clothes at the hostel because not wearing proper attire. Is it just me or every uni in Malaysia kinda having their own stupid rule? Official once we get the lanyard (which is not yet), I heard. At first I thought it's just Kachi, but seems like the whole DPPs will be implementing this stupid rule. Let me see my block's RA doing it first. M'sia is 'plagued' with too many oldies at the top hierarchy, they don't know what we need, what we feel.

QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 27 2011, 02:00 AM) Is it just me or the main university internet line/uumzone is effin' slow right now? Still pissed off by the web filtering they imposed before. Kind of slow. Last year around this time, it's a tad faster.

QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 27 2011, 03:45 PM) My DPP still doesn't got the wireless yet. If want to go online, we will go to the cafeteria. When asking the new Principal during DPP Roadshow 3 days before, he said that Pusat Komputer still have something yet to do here. Lucky that cafeteria is quite near to my block though. lol so rajin ah? I came to the roadshow, then sit at the far back relaxing, don't hear or care what the felo or JPKS said. People really went bored when the meeting went over 11pm.

QUOTE(nazq @ Jan 30 2011, 03:18 AM) I'm not the one who ask lol. We boys sit outside lor, the DPP hall kenot occupy all the students there. And we will swap block next semester, which the Principal said there are cases that female students bring boys into their block so this block-swap means the admin can control them . Still, the boys' block is only 1 here compared with 3 for girls. But still I expecting myself changing DPP next sem. Bring boys back? Sneak around 4am? Changing to where? Though I'm sure it's no Kachi.

Lanyard not enough stock lol, so I'll probably only get mine on/after Wednesday.

QUOTE(nazq @ Feb 28 2011, 05:37 PM) The benefits? Getting free uniform, free kursus kepimpinan? Donno about it, but yeah, the students who is part of the JPMD usually will have their benefits as well. More involvement in college activity (thus more SIRA), getting sticker I think. Here RA and ketua blok is a separate job, unlike before. Btw this morning got accident at EDC junction. All 3 passengers died - my room-mate lalu at that scene as he returns back to campus, and when looking at the pictures, wow Uniform + leadership courses? Lol, sucks much. But RA/ketua blok aren't part of JPM, are they? Accident? Pic now! Post it.

Somehow I escaped oh lol. I never wear my lanyard at all to classes and lucky not kena spot-check. Kachi hasn't been raided by HEP yet too. Added on March 8, 2011, 4:06 amQUOTE(jaejaejung @ Mar 8 2011, 02:35 AM) like the bad stuff about the uni? lately i heard many bad news about uum they said the manegement come out with riduculous rules if you are not comfortable to talk on forum you can pm me thanks Bad stuff? 1. QUOTE(cherieaplepie @ Mar 22 2011, 01:41 PM) Hi everyone, I would like to ask, as a student here, how are u coping up? Do u have any dissatisfaction? 1. Stressed with the bus problem, esp. for Kachi. 2. My transfer credit wasn't allowed. Staff simply said because I'm not from polytechnic. This post has been edited by hirano: Mar 23 2011, 12:18 PM

QUOTE(cherieaplepie @ Mar 24 2011, 12:47 AM) o my, after all this years, still have bus problem? what is the problem exactly by the way? then where are u from? Bus being very late, and even if 1 comes, it'll be very full. The rest of the students cant enter. There's only 1 bus for every 30 mins for Kachi. And just from my observation, more bus will park in SME Bank (since it's the last stop), leaving Bank Rakyat students have to wait longer.

QUOTE(cherieaplepie @ Mar 24 2011, 11:11 PM) aiyo pity la like dat... maybe he/she wake up late? Added on March 24, 2011, 11:14 pmLast time always like that. Now also the same? Haish... UUM management is getting worse year by year.. Why can't we students do something about it? The bus situation, at least in B.Rakyat, has never improved. Even this morning we had a program in campus. Woke up at 6:40am, planned to take the 7:30am bus. But there's no bus until almost 8am -- but even this single bus is from SME. Then two of my friends who arrived a bit late, had to take the 8:30am bus -- this is ALSO from SME. Imagine if the bus from SME is full? Or if the bus driver didn't want to stop? So where the heck is the bus for B.Rakyat, seriously??
