I wish that supplier could have reduce price for us. So we can sell cheaper.
Most of the people think that we or I wanna sell expensive and ear a lot. Where actually our margin are high as well. Most of the time we are earning workmanship . Some who just buy card only. We only earn RM180 per card.Haiz..... We ccan't complain supplier as well. Who ask us born in MALAYSIA??? Haha |

Yo. Someone summoned me.
Normally i will suggest people buy 120hz only. As 120hz with 3D will throttle down the performance nearly 75%. Where the graphic card need to render twice graphic. Somehow laptop graphic card isnt that strong after all. So 3d is a tough job for them |

QUOTE(TYK @ Feb 15 2014, 11:57 PM) Hi all Alienware gurus, this might cause some issue due to the caching, u will lost ur boot mgr, and system resevre partition.I bit my tongue and placed order for an Alienware 17 which comes with "750GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s+64GB mSATA SSD Caching". I know this might not be a best decision at this time knowing that GTX800M series launch is close and Alienware laptops might have refresh few months later, but I found a relatively good deal and due to personal reasons it's best for me to setup a new laptop now. I want to move Window OS from the stock HDD to a new SSD which I will purchase later on. I plan to do so by following the steps below once receive the unit: 1. Create a recovery drive on a USB thumb drive (16GB) and keep it safe; 2. Install the new 240GB SSD in the secondary drive bay of AW17; 3. Use Macrium Reflect to clone the OS from the stock 750GB HDD into the new 240GB SSD; 4. Remove the stock HDD from primary drive bay (boot drive) and install the SSD into it. Leave the HDD outside the laptop; 5. Once everything is fine, install the stock HDD into secondary bay, and format it empty to have it as storage drive. Pls let me know if I have overlooked any minor detail in the above steps. i wonder why u wanna keep the stock recovery? haha.... i makes no different from the fresh install, as u will get the stock DVD for the OS. |
