and oh yeah, the main purpose is joining contests other than gaming and overclocking.

yeah, main ingredients are a crossfire of AMD cards, 2 sets of SSDs in RAID 0, a custom water cooling system and a custom PC chassis with a choice of automotive paint. hardwares are planned but brandings arent.

well that depends. that ultimate PC project isnt important to me, so i will only do it when it comes to the time. i will first fund for a gaming laptop (im a mobile gamer) > travel to Japan for 1 or 2 weeks > investing > set up business > PC project. im targeting myself within 5 years from the day i got a proper job, i must accomplish all of that.

add in MSI GS70 as well. that was a 17" ultrabook like beast.

my concern is if Alienware introduces ultrabook size, will it use MXM form? because i concern about upgradedibilities.

want a futureproof laptop with no regrets? get Alienware 17, graphics card is upgradeable and excellent cooling system. but one thing you might need to bear is the weight.

only 17 and 18 (doesnt exist in Malaysia market) are upgradeable.

im looking forward how the 17 R2 looks like.

if in USD, i think its around the price of a high-end smartphone.

for the PC only.
i cant judge the price for the highest spec of M14x R2, maybe the price of a Lenovo Y510P?

seems like low virtual memory for me. have you ever done any settings to the virtual memory?

to add : MSI, ASUS, Sager had them as well. Alienware is a little slower.

no idea about R2 release, just that AW added GT8xxM series into the upcoming list. and oh, there is AMD R9 M290X as well, which is released since January.

Who knows?
Maybe full HD will come as standard configuration for all alienwares if 3k is proposed.

that system is quite a headache to disassemble but at my most effort, i will do my best.
or if you need guidance, you can watch this video. all you need is a philips and flat head screwdriver actually.
