This seems tempting. Been looking for a new practice amp lately.
Price roughly about RM550

on another note, i just noticed

ive not played a cheap marshall that had a marhsall tone, only marshall that i played had it was a C5 and that was not cheap for a 5watter

anyone know any cheap marshall amps that can do marshall?
*
marshall mg15ms2.
but actually key to "marshall" tone in cheap amp is volume and attack...else u get that boxy mosquito sound...

i dont think volume helps, i blast the amp or least try to do it to get the tone. = nope

theres another amp a valve state i think, tried and tried always too harsh something is wrong

go to an old JCM800, master vol at 8, glorious

naw they were different guitars, marshall tone colours a guitars characteristics quite a bit when it is in its full glory. the JCM was done with a PRS Tremonti SE i think.

someone is selling a quilt top, brw fretboard, C22 PRS for 7.5k in tank

my heart skipped a beat

i wont call it a honk, id say its a roar, its a warm full tube tone. i wont say its distinctively marshall but its british i dare say.

not some fizzy erm boxy thin OD that the other amps put up, it sounds like i took a JCM put the preamp on full aand left the vol on 3

thats why for practice amps, the kustom tube12 for me still ranks quite high.
i'm sure there are other ones now competing in that category, but i'm not really bothered to go experiment.

and looking at jamtank there...the one real interesting one i see is a yamaha sg800 for rm2.3k...but unfortunately the guy said it was setup by guitar hospital...

I would agree that the honk is the sound of Marshalls.

The thing that pedals really hard to emulate.
