Reporting from BV... They are starting to restock 60006... Lots of them. New sets that I saw were x-wing (9493?) and Colby City. Saw one guy holding hulk set....

Talked to the sales guy there and he says that their starting to restock but they dunno what's coming down.

Going to grab my lunch first and then see what's new before going back to work smile.gif
*
Noooooooo!

Grab first, lunch later! Else you'll regret! tongue.gif

Now they bring out the restock X-Wing sets ....... shakehead.gif

can straight away use the coupon ah?
*
Coupons valid from 1st Dec to 2nd Jan 2014 only! Like what bro Lego_Jason highlighted below.

They smart. After sales, force you to buy some more so you won't feel like you wasted your vouchers.

QUOTE(torange @ Nov 29 2013, 04:04 PM)
X-wing - RM 253.44 before less coupons?  biggrin.gif
any1 can recall 75012 price at bv2? thank you.
*
After discount. Unless you have other prior coupons, different story.

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Nov 29 2013, 04:22 PM)
Thanks for the superb photo spam!! Breaks the monotony of all the sales report from BV2! rclxms.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif
I knew you wanted the X-Wing and wanted to grab the last set on the shelf for you but seeing the box condition I just left it. It wasn't badly damaged but also not perfect... Also wife was rushing me so had to hurry. Sorry.
It is a great set and now is the best time to get one (or two, or three...) brows.gif
Cash vouchers can only start using from 1st December and valid until 2nd January 2014. Very important that you remind yourself it is only valid for one month otherwise it will be wasted!

Thanks bro. X-Wing in my wishlist but resisting Star Wars. icon_question.gif
I have bought 0 SW sets so far.

By the way all sifu, we see reviews of 2014 sets coming up online. Usually how long before they reach our shores locally? By Dec 2013?

Since vouchers valid throughout Dec 2013, wishful thinking can get some discounted 2014 sets in Dec 2013 with voucher. laugh.gif

Kena double the vouchers  tongue.gif

But not available in any TRU laa... whistling.gif

Too bad TRU doesn't sell 1/6th scale figures anymore.

I got my first 1/6th figure from TRU ages ago. From a company called BBI. It was an LAPD SWAT Sergeant.

Went to TRU Ikano last night for a quick look-see to see what I can get with vouchers. Hard decision since shelves are full of stock now! Especially City sets. Saw a few sets with purple Star Member stickers.

Still thinking what to get now ...

Just wondering, how are you all storing your instruction manuals? I'm currently putting them in transparent plastic in ring folders but they seem to get wrinkled easily.
*
Some of my big sets come with multiple manuals eg 3 booklets. I bought an A4 size hard plastic transparent document case

This is the one I was talking about. Got it for RM 10 from DAISO 1Utama (New Wing).

It's about 2 inches thick so can store quite a number of instruction manuals in here.

Yeah. Need a higher paying job to feed my addiction!

I was browsing and watching YouTube for 2014 Godzilla trailer (looking forward to it!) and found this Brick Show review.
Haven't seen anyone share this yet so...

LEGO 60047 - 2014 Police Station review (it's more than 20 mins long!)

*
Yeah. Really TNS. Asked friend to get it for me from BV II. Got vouchers but not enough to offset the 50% discount now. I think I previously calculated the difference between Brickboys discount and buying from BV II was the vouchers.

It's a risk bro. Who knows price might drop further.

I guess I'll console myself with the thought that I got it 35% off retail sweat.gif

Morning AFOLs

What a horrible day yesterday. Mother in law was hospitalized - bitten by bro in law's dog. Ripped out part of her upper lips. sad.gif

Then found out ex-colleague from Yellow-Man company met with accident after company year end party and was hospitalized.

Friday The 13th really cursed! unsure.gif

This is the start of recovery but everyone in disbelief as this was done by own pet. They even went to extent of spoiling the dog before this. Gave her nothing but the best ...

Something like that - dog already not well (heard some blood infection) and not good mood.

Attack all of a sudden when asking her to go upstairs as they wanted to go out. Dog turn around without warning and start to bite.

Anyway - I'll be looking out for that Batman, Nightwing & Man-Bat set. Guess its more for the figures biggrin.gif
