... not to sound like i'm just saying wtf for the sake of saying wtf but... wtf? you like chicks with bleeding tits? wtf, wtf, wtf?

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Jun 21 2006, 11:24 PM)
I tot it only happens at first. Then later okay adi 1?
It don't happen to me no more. However, if I don't swim for a long time, and I swim again, one whole day penat.
*
depends on the person, apparently it happens more often to people who also suffer from vertigo, it still happens to me and i've been swimming for a couple of decades.

i used to swim 3-5km every weekend for 2 years, i would still be sore the next day, definitely dont have that issue with running... 5mile runs in the morning no problems. swimming is definitely more exhausting than running.

I think everybody has no problems exercising.
I can jog 30 minutes every day.

It's just the DIET.
Damn.
So hard to hold yourself when it comes to eating.

Some suggest went for operation.
Restriction operation for obesity..Stomach stapling.

For bodybuilders eating won't be a problem right? tongue.gif
More eat...even better...bigger muscle.

Anyone has a method to hold appetite...PLEASE SHARE cry.gif

its all about self discipline, screw surgery, screw supplements which suppress apetite, get a roommate or family member to rabbit punch you everytime you eat outside of your pre-set rules. he/she'll get a good workout beating you senseless and you'll lose weight. win win situation and its free.

Thinking of spending some money to get these. My main focus now is Diet, i need to do alot of exercises at my abdominal.

What brands do you recommend? I only bought dumb bells before, and the quality is just so so, i prefer something good, but not too good (too expensive).

- For beginner like me, how heavy should I get those dumb bells? They have 5kg, 10, 20kg, hmmm. I weigh at 120+ Kg/6 foot.

- What about bar bells? Should I get those plates as well? I just need the bar to do some exercises for now.

- Bench? Some bench can be adjusted to diagonal form, some is only flat. Which one do you recommend.

- Exercise balls? This may sound stupid, does all the balls have the same sizes?  doh.gif

Oh My, to get these 4 things, how much roughly?  sweat.gif  unsure.gif

Please state the brand as well, Thanks.  thumbup.gif

- For dumbbells I use HealthLife(green weights) and MaXX Fitness(grey weights). My dad bought them some donkey years ago so I don't know how much they cost. But they function fine for me. A pair of good training gloves are vital though -- dumbbells have a coarse grip and can hurt when lifting heavy weights.

- How heavy a beginner can lift varies with each person. Try a weight and see if u can perform 12 repetitions(reps) of an exercise with it. If the last few reps are difficult enough to make you want to stop, that's the weight you should start out with.

- Personally, I don't use barbells. Maybe it's the scare that if I perform barbell exercises now I will stunt however little growth I still have in me(I'll be 20 this year). However, pretty much all barbell exercises can be substituted with a form of dumbbell exercise(and you save costs on buying a barbell and plates for it too!).

- Get a bench that can be adjusted into an incline, flat, or decline position. If possible, get one with a leg curl extension also.

- I don't use exercise balls(not really necessary I think) tongue.gif

To lose weight, cardiovascular exercises(jogging, swimming, cycling) and diet are the keys. Weight training will aid you by building muscle which ups your metabolism(muscle burns calories by themselves also). To train your abs, crunches(a form of sit up, but you don't raise your upper body so much) can help.

Glad to know that you're taking the initiative to make yourself healthier. rclxms.gif

its cheap, a few ringgit, check a sports equipment shop which sells swimming gear. you want to get something of high quality cause it sucks to have something break up in your ear requiring a trip to the hospital to get it out, trust me its not fun.

Thanks for that piece of advise, sounds scary, just like someone got choke while eating durian. shocking.gif sweat.gif

Thanks, maybe I'm getting a set of 10 - 15kg dumb bells, they usually have 2 pieces inside, the one I bought last time was 2.5kg and 5kg. I wanna get 5kg and 10 kg.

I think I'll get a bench and a set of dumb bells first. Will keep you all updated when I bought those two. flex.gif cool.gif

Yea, i learn all those exercises from bodybuilding.com tongue.gif , very useful site. thumbup.gif

I might also consider getting a Bicycle. I think that Bicycle shop boss can still recognise me. laugh.gif tongue.gif

if you have knee problems or think you have knee problems, skip the bike. cycling is worse than jogging for your knees.

Actually, I think it's the other way round. Jogging is harder on the knees compared to the bike.

No problem with the knee all this while. In fact, i've planned to go to the foot massage centre once every month, to have some relaxing foot massage. tongue.gif

About RM40 for 40 minutes.

Can get some advise from the 'Sifu' and good for the foot and body as well. thumbup.gif
