Damn, can any ducky/filco/signature plastic group buy owner here help me to measure the stem to stem length of the spacebar?

Cause after I dig out all my spacebar (mostly by kbc, vortex and ikbc), I realise that actually most of the spacebar stem to stem length is actually 9.9cm (sharp), while the latest white doubleshot pbt one is actually 10cm (sharp).

He came to this thread after abang kyrmian suggest that his keycool backlit (confirmed to be gen 1) is using non standard spacebar.

So we all had assumed it to be so and avoid suggesting keycool 87II (gen 2) since then.

White PBT blue switch whole taobao no stock dy. Either opt for black color/backlit version or other switches.

But syukurlah all had opted for "better alternative" instead...

Poker = standard
ONI = not standard (from what other forumers had experienced)

To avoid problem like Keycool 87II misleading t occur again, I will suggest that we measure it quantitatively with ruler.

Dat moment when you changed the whole set (86keys for TKL, 103 keys for fullsize) of keycaps, remaining a odd colored old spacebar...

OK guys, after the spacebar analysis I done just now, here are my findings.

1. Most 6.25x spacebar (by kbc, keycool, plum and vortex) stem spacing is 9.9cm, but their actual length (length of spacebar) may actually +/- around 1mm.
2. The white spacebar from ikbc/vortex ds pbt is actually having a 10cm spacing instead of the popular 9.9mm.
3. The Cherry stabiliser spacing on F-104 is actually 10cm, but the stem is actually not locked in and still had some space allow for movement, hence explain the compatibility of 9.9cm spacing and 10cm spacing spacebar.
4. The previously rumored spacebar incompatibility of Keycool87II should be a myth, the spacebar should actually compatible.

Now, anyone with poker/ducky(zero and non-zero)/filco mind help me measure the stabiliser and stem spacing of their spacebar?

You mean the spacebar keycap stem spacing is 9.95ish? How about the stabiliser stem spacing on the keyboard?

Actually, what's the most important here is the stabiliser spacing on each keyboard.

From all the input till now, I think the norm of standard stabiliser spacing is 9.9ish to 10cm.
