Finally received my unprinted Thick PBT from IMSTO today! For statistics, I ordered and cleared the payment on last Friday and receive it today. Only took around 5 days to arrive. Initially I thought it would only take 3 days tops though seeing how close I am now with China. Anyways, I'm just glad to receive it finally! No complaint here.

Removing the keycaps, including the ones with stabilizer bar was really easy and not as difficult as I once thought, thanks to the Ripster guide that I followed here. In fact, it only took me ~15 minutes to fully remove all the keycaps. Putting them back is again, easy as pie!

Several things that I note:
- The texture is really something compared to ABS. The extra premium spent on this one is really worth it. You would have to touch and feel it to know.
- Apparently the keycaps that I purchased has a slightly lower height than the Filco. For example, the height for the QWERTY... in my ordered keycaps is having the same height as the 'ZXCV...' from Filco. Still, I really appreciate and like the lowered height as surprisingly, I feel more comfortable typing on it!
- Dark grey and black looks just perfect!  Initially I wanted to purchase the White + Gray combo, but later decided to withdraw and choose the dark grey set instead. NO REGRET!
- BLANK IS SEXY

Old enough to use dvorak? And let me guess, he didn't play game too.  Is it hard to change to dvorak?

What's your reason? Eh, android keyboard got dvorak or not? Hehe....

i think if u can't memorize qwerty, it's easier for u to switch to dvorak rather than those who have memorized qwerty!

How you shift to dvorak? Start from keyboard or what? I don't think it's easy for me unless there's dvorak keyboard infront of me.
Not yet memorize but already used too. I guess a qwerty forever.

Yea it's hard to find someone with the same passion. Despite what my profile picture might suggest, I'm not really that old though. Hint: I first interact with PC is the MS-DOS days.

Heh I'm really poisoned with the new kep cap. The lowered heights really make me typing more comfortably than before seeing my home table level is just few inches away from my heart area.

Spot on! From the circle that I'm mingled around, I'm the only one know type in Dvorak. To be more precise, I'm the only one who knows what is Dvorak.

Infact, for PCB mounted boards. Ppl rarely desolder the switches to mod it, simply remove the top case, take out old stem/spring, plug in new stem/spring and reinstall the top case.

You keep the base of switches till it is broken or having multi registering issues.

I seriously think it is a little too much hassle. Might as well get a keycool with clear switches and test if you like it or not first b4 doing operation on your Filco/Ducky.

IINM, someone here is letting go their ducky g2 pro with clear switches, not a bad choice too.

Yup, that is what we call a PCB mounted board.

Very few mainstream mass market boards are PCB mounted.

Though, most korean custom can be either pcb/plate mounted, depend whichever you want.
