They are still many companies are expanding, but their office may not in cyberjaya la...IBM cyberjaya still have a lot of open vacancy, can check their job portal for more info...google in KL sentral also expanding...

but nowadays negative news get more attention and worth more value to report la ...haha

Despite FDI gone down for Year over Year basis, Bear in mind this is not yearly profit & lost but long term investment, means that both Q1FY14 & FY15 we have RM28Bil approved FDI.

but recently I saw many ppl fussing about the moving out of JVC factory. globalisation effect la...our living standard was improved and our labour cost is no longer cheap in low skill labour segment, which is good if u looking from this perspective

haha...cyber debate still go on...thx for the info...

I always expected no car in cyber but traffic is getting busier, many speeding car in the morning...need to be more careful while turn out from junction...

The supply in Iskandar is just too much overly supply.

For Cyberjaya - many ppl complaining far-far-far from KL but they forgot that not every ppl are working in KLCC area nowadays. Even they do, going to KLCC via MEX is quick (25mins).
Spillover effect is simple - Subang boomed because of airport, USJ boomed because of Subang + Sunway, Putra Height boomed because of USJ.
Puchong boomed because of Sunway. Cyberjaya will be the same - close to airport, spillover effect from Puchong. Not to forget also the already in-place world class infra + connectivity like 5 expressway. Reasonable pricing, excellent living environment, IOI resort city mall / D Pulze community mall, full supports from gov + master plan of CCC - taht's the way to go.

Note - CCC is one of the gov owned big land inside klang valley. They die die also want to develop in order to earn $$$ (u help me I help u)....so? sit back and relax, let the developers and gov do the jobs smile.gif They want to sell the proj, they will throw in more wow-factor to lure ppl.

There are many ppl staying in cyber but working outside from cyber. (own stay occupancy rate is catching up, but if u try to ask those who working in cyber, most of them are not staying in cyber)

this eventually prove that ppl recognise cyber is a good residential area, not silicon valley vision that lure ppl to stay there...

MNC moving out from cyber, but occupancy rate still catching up....more and more local ppl having their supper at oldtown. mnc or silicon valley become a less relevant factor in analysing cyber.

Salary range of cyber and KL is more or less the same, only PJ/Damansara company offer slightly higher (5-10%)...cyber can be higher than KL if travelling allowance is offered.

but living cost in damansara also higher la....if u compare hawker stall or foodcourt. I used to work in all the places above, keep track of the market rate and also have visibility in payroll in most of the company I worked for.

Yes, especially Damansara/BU, generally higher. use the larger pool to compare, manager level - junior staff. which consist 90% of manpower in each company

if u compare director/ceo level then it cant be compare by location...

and don't feel surprise, if we put KLCC/Intermark those top office space aside, PJ office rental is more expensive than KL city center also, based on the budget I worked for my ex co 2 years ago...KL have too many vacant office space but PJ/damansara not really...

siberfarjaya is the most controversial one...very far

for eg, many ppl stay in kajang, puchong. during peak hour 6-8pm, travel from office to home can easily take 1.5hour. but KL to cyber home, 45mins or less. toll charges is not cheap...but if u talk about far compare with time spent on the traffic, not really...

Do u know office can be categorize by class ? I already said, put aside those top office like KLCC or intermark, those are AAA class or with platinum level. compare office with same class, PJ is higher

many Telco engineer so each of them is highly paid ? u expect chinaman company like ZTE/Huawei offer good pay? dream on, they beat Ericson with lower quotation to win the project so they control their HR budget gao gao also. maxis still ok but they also benchmark the pay of surrounded company.

PJ/damansara also got a lot of big mnc la, IBM, HP, KPMG, shlumberger, BAT...too many la...try to compare they offer from fresh grad, junior staff, exec to mgr...check with your recruiter contact if u know any smile.gif
