Owh ok.. Erm if I don buy extra cooler for my r9 290 is it ok?
*
Yup, it should be ok. In case if u feel the gpu temp is really high, u can always tweak the fan speed manually to high to cool it down. Reset to default again when not gaming.

hi sifus, I plan to get a gaming rig which can last about another 3-5 years. if possible, must be able to play games in high settings. (ultra settings for bf4)

CPU: Intel Core I5 4570
MOBO: ASUS B85M-G
RAM: 8gb ddr3 1600mhz
HDD: 1tb hhd
Chasis: CM K350 Casing
PSU: FSP HEXA 500W PSU
ODD: dvdrw
GPU: R9 270x or GTX760(prefer gtx760 if meet budget)

my budget is rm2500. refer to the spec above, is rm2500 enough or I have to top up? or do u have better suggestions?
this budget does not include lcd, speaker, etc. I have them already.

Thanks in advance! =D
*
By rough calculation, 2.5k is enough for the spec u listed. But i would suggest top up RM100+ more for better PSU.

Prodigy, Phenom or Colossus M all having bad cable management and very tight inside. I will suggest Silverstone TJ08-E for most compact mATX rig buyer. But casing style is based on personal preference thou.

Do i really need GTX650? hmm.gif
*
Not necessary if u just plan to use that rig for normal usage and some flash games. The integrated graphic by Intel chip is more than enough.

His photo editing programs no need graphic processing? hmm.gif
*
If just photo editing like photoshop not really needed. Unless for video editing that involves animation or viewing angle of modelling objexts program then a dedicated gpu will be helpful.

Edit: In case when he really needed he can add on anytime too as long as the PSU can handle.

Is there a different PSU and nicer looking casing?  tongue.gif Willing to spend a bit more for that haha, and will all 500w PSU's work?
*
As long as the PSU capable of supplying true power of 500w then should be ok.
Its good to see ppl willing to spend little more for PSU, I will suggest u get Seasonic S12I 620W or other better PSU that provide more headroom for any further upgrade later on without replacing the old the PSU.
