Have a look here.

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...lain_Terms.aspx
The letters next to API, such as SM, refer to the quality level of passenger vehicle motor oil. The current highest available standard is SN. CF is a diesel engine or commercial vehicle standard and the highest current one is CJ-4.

No isu to use SL... SN is the latest and provide better protection...
Normally I'm alternate between liquimoly and magnetec... Use both since 15k km till today...
Liquimoly also SL/CF

Hey Guys, I've just discovered this:

When I place my car into Reverse gear and hold the car stationary by pressing on the brakes, a whirring sound can be heard coming from the engine bay (bottom right side, to be exact).

Anybody experienced this before?
I'm wondering if it should be a cause for concern icon_question.gif

Unfortunately, no.
From what I gather (reading through the Forum here), it appears that the only way to obtain a Smart Key replacement is through KIA.
It is because of the uniquely coded transponder/reader of each key which makes it difficult to duplicate (but I'm sure not impossible) and expensive to replace.
After all, it is a Smart Key.

I think it's normal. Mine have the sane signs as yours. Try to switch your gear from N to D or N to R on a quiet day and you should be hearing the same sound.

Nope = Nope, I've not experienced the soft whirring sound when I engage 'R' and keep the car stationary OR
Nope = Nope, I experience the same thing and it is not something to be worried about.

Btw, my car's a 1.6 SixSpeed.

Hey guys, anyone has experience in replacing their windscreens? How much does it cost? Any recommendations on the cheapest & most reliable workshop?

No insurance coverage. Mistake on not taking that option during purchase last time.

Thanks in advance!

If worry the lost key use by someone (who took the key and know belong to your car) to unlock your car, better bring the spare key back to Naza Kia to generate a new code. smile.gif
