Received called from SC to go back for car wiring checking. Something to do with the air con. They said it's instructed by Kia HQ. Anyone here received such call from SC?

Just got call from NazaKia SC..ask me to come for service & at the same time they will replace the brake switch for free due to a worldwide recall campaign (for replacing the famously known brake switch failure)

just to seek for opinions:

Example:
number of service scheduled:
1st service on 10k, 2nd service on 20k, 3rd service on 30k, etc

but when reaching the due date of service, mileage are far less than it scheduled:
let say 1st service 5k, 2nd service 10k, 3rd service maybe 15k, 4th service 20k...

so, when go for service as scheduled, shall follow servicing as "number" or "mileage"??
if follow number, then on 3rd service (which mileage only 15k) already do major service as 30k.

Can somebody show me how their warranty letter looks like? For the 2+3 and the 5 years one.

How does the 5 years warranty from kia looks like?

I went to SC after receiving call, waited for 1.5 hours for the "check" on air cond wiring. Lodged my complaints on noises from front, left, right and rear of car, but were ignored without taking a drive with me to identify the source and ask to leave car for 2-3 days next time.

Btw, car collected end March 2013. Seems like affected ones are from last batch.

thanks for reply. Scenario is like this:
it's time to service the car, which is 3rd service. According to the maintenance/service package, the service is for 15k/20k mileage (can't remember).
in fact, the mileage only ard 10k. So, should proceed with their 15k/20k service package, or ask for 10k package (mean by mileage)?
which options will you guys go for?
I believe which ever we choose, it doesn't affect on the warranty, am I right?

Freaking nightmare dealing with Naza Kia SC. Bloody incompetent people. Remember my brake issue that I mentioned couple of pages back? Turns out to be brake servo need replacing on a 8 month old car. QC at its best.

Car was bought under AZ so they have 3 first service discount package which you only need to pay 20% of the engine oil. Sounds good? Distance from house to AZ is about 35 KM (ok what since I can get around RM 60 shaved off my service bill if I service with AZ). My biggest regret is servicing with them.

Sent my car to Glenmarie (which is less than 5 KM from my house). They checked and told me that in their system, my 1K & 10K services was recorded as (1k & 20K) by AZ. They can't claim warranty for me because in the system, the warranty is void due to skipping 10K service despite showing them service receipts.

Now, I need to send back the car to AZ which is miles away to let them check and drive back (or put there which is not an option because I need to use the car) because they do not have brake servo in stock. They need to take out, document it and send for warranty claims.

After the stock arrived (which no one could estimate the duration, might be weeks meanwhile continue driving with failing brake servo), I need to drive there again for replacing.

Have, but according to them for warranty claims, Naza will refer to the system and etc excuses given. I think they don't want to take my car in because I don't service with them more like it.

Saw the records in their database, it was indeed my 2nd service was labeled under 20K service in the computer. Glenmarie SC don't want to dirty their hands in this issue and rejected my car and ask me go deal with AZ directly.

Suddenly got me thinking, was this a conspiracy by AZ Motors to prevent customers going to other place since it is considered "warranty void" by other SC.

Gonna lodge a report with Naza and see what can be done about this issue.

tinted my headlamp and after a week,the headlamp cracks like spider web. the reason i tinted the lamp is because the stone chip on it.to prevent more stone chip on it my fren from acc suggest me to do this. aiks....now it cracks. anyone know how much it cost for a pair of new one? genuine one. or anyone wanted to let go their current eagle eye can pm me.thank you!

cant really recall wurt happen but was driving on the highway then in front of me was proton wira.
all the sudden something drop under his car and  the thing flew behind and hit my car. 
Luckily its not my windscreen or else gg-ed.

Not the bumper. The skirting for the front the bumper or the bodykit you guys call that.

Hi guys,

Anyone had the steering wheel "glok glok" noise and manage to fix it?

SC say needs to change the whole steering motor which cost about 5k. I read online that some bush is worn out and it can be fixed but only in Singapore.

Mine is first batch.. So only 2 years warranty.. Sad..

Do you by any chance  knows where can fix the bush in kl?
