Some Vacation shots: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nokia PV 808, some stock some photoshopped. Mi Note good for casual shoots I guess, serious mobile photography they're still behind the likes of Nokia, Apple, Samsung, and the upcoming LG G4. |

QUOTE(dembaba9000 @ May 8 2015, 02:49 PM) Hope u enjoyed ur trip in Bangkok. Thanks:) Already came back from there.Mi Note good for casual shoots I guess, serious mobile photography they're still behind the likes of Nokia, Apple, Samsung, and the upcoming LG G4. Mi Note is actually doing a pretty good job at camera department too at such price tag (and near flagship specs). If there are more manual settings for Mi Note camera, Im sure it can get serious too^^ I find your Mi Note's night shots at Chocolate Ville & Asiatique are better compared to 808 in terms of overall dynamic range (And i think most of your shots are handheld and not using tripod, correct me if i'm wrong ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nokia PV 808, some stock some photoshopped. |

QUOTE(realjazzcoke @ May 8 2015, 10:33 PM) Thanks:) Already came back from there. Yeap all hand held. I find shots within 1/4 seconds usable, by my standards of course. The manual mode is pretty comprehensive. Take shutter speed as an example, it can go up to 32 sec lol. Looking forward to see the potential of 32 sec, especially on busy road at night QUOTE(Andrewtst @ May 9 2015, 09:35 AM) Finally, the flagship of the year Image quality was pretty good too, even on high ISO (800 at least to me). Getting better and better these days Care to check which camera sensor your S6 Edge are using? this time around the S6 Edge was equipped either with SONY IMX 240 or ISOCELL, click on the link below to see what is the differences between both sensors. http://www.lowyat.net/2015/05/samsung-conf...camera-sensors/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Photoshopped ![]() Nokia PV 808, all stock, 1 photoshopped. |

I'm looking at phones between 900-1200 price range.
Camera wise, what phone is the best here. How does the OnePlus fare against the Meizu? |

QUOTE(.:zaxiao:. @ May 12 2015, 03:40 PM) I'm looking at phones between 900-1200 price range. One Plus One / Mi4 uses older Sony IMX 214 which is still using the typical sensor size of 1/3.06Camera wise, what phone is the best here. How does the OnePlus fare against the Meizu? Meizu MX4 using newer Sony IMX220 (found in Z1 till Z3) and using a larger sensor size of 1/2.3 After all it also depends on how smartphone manufacture pretuned their camera algorithm. |
