and finally, a mode where Pixelmaster excels successfully with its low light shooting capabilities.

I'm looking at phones between 900-1200 price range.
Camera wise, what phone is the best here.
How does the OnePlus fare against the Meizu? hmm.gif
*
One Plus One / Mi4 uses older Sony IMX 214 which is still using the typical sensor size of 1/3.06

Meizu MX4 using newer Sony IMX220 (found in Z1 till Z3) and using a larger sensor size of 1/2.3

After all it also depends on how smartphone manufacture pretuned their camera algorithm.

just want to ask guys? iphone 6+ or note 4 or s6 edge? which has the best camera? and how is this phone cameras perform compared to a dslr maybe like a canon 70 or nikon d5500 or a sony a6000? or rx100 mark3?
*
Both Samsung Note 4 and S6 Edge are using Sony IMX240 sensor (If you get Sony one instead of Samsung ISOCELL sensor) I suppose it produce similar results.

Consider LG G4 too, the best android smartphone camera at the moment.

There's a lot of comparison of latest smartphone vs DSLR in YouTube. Have a look

Water-colour effect result from heavy noise suppression post-processing.

It seems Sony knows how to build the best sensors, but fails in algorithm.

Even highest end Xperia Z series doesn't fare much better against competitors.

Your latest two pictures seems fine for Xperia Z1.

I guess your phone shot at high ISO that sacrifices a lot of details for brighter pictures.
