Hi, here are my 2 cents for the comparison biggrin.gif , are both phones set on auto settings while shooting? if yes, technically we cant actually compare/judge the picture quality or the true performance of the two, due to different ISO and shutter speed (Unfair)

Not sure if the arrangements are correct or purposely disarranged (the last set):

a. 1A,2A and 3B are simply better in details and white balance, although overall looks dimmer compared to Phone B- Lets just call it Phone A

b. Where else 1B,2B and 3A not just showing inconsistent white balance in each scene, brighter overall scene (a little too much), but lastly the lost of finer details, smudged (you cant even see the grass clearly in 1A for example) - Phone B

If both phones are using the similar ISO & shutter speed in Auto, Phone A leads all the way, but if its not, lets just say Phone A are better in handling various low-lighting situation while preserving as much detail as possible, brighter scene doesn't always better. I would rather preserve as much detail as possible, then work the dim area with Photoshop later. That's for me by the way tongue.gif

Lastly, price point, if the gap is huge between the two, i must say Phone B is actually doing a decent job here, but not better.

Thanks for sharing the photos rclxms.gif

Thanks for ur feedback.

I am still doing a comparison of these 2 devices. U have guessed it right that there is a significant gap between these 2 devices. But there are claims that the cheaper device could match up to a higher price range device.

However to avoid bias towards certain devices, esp from fanboys... i rearranged the photos. Therefore 1A,2A and 3A is not necessarily from Phone A and vise versa.

Scenes are selected to pushes the limit in taking outdoor night shot photos.
These 2 devices are shot several times by the same experienced person with repeatedly to get Best of Automode, Nightmode, HDR mode and Manualmode. Another 2 person selected the best photo of each.
Photo was shot with respective stock camera.
No photo shopped or any kind of editing was done.

Its not a perfect study as you can see there are still bias in the rules setup above.

but thanks again for ur feed back.
