Yes, I get that.But Sony could have used Xperia Z's dimension like frame.
For 5" device it is a bit large. But really nice device.

It will be good if Sony use back Z's design. Z1 the bezel is thick. Prefer Z thin bezel.

Oh, apparently I'm one of the winner of Mix FM instagram content. Their instagram mentioned that the prize is an Alcatel android phone.

When my boss heard about it, he was surprise by how Alcatel is still in business. lol

Compare with xz and z ultra more thin...

Phone manufacturers added few tens of inch for the screen size. Look where we are now. 5" screen size is the de facto standard for the high end phone. Not everyone love the big size phones.
Personally I feel like 4.7" are good enough for regular device but established OEM don't feel like making phone with that screen size anymore.

Alcatel make some decent phones. Recently they released the Idol X or something right? That is a good phone for a reasonable price (still not good as Moto G)

btw guys, i tried opening all the caps and switched to airplane mode when taking photos...it really helped to lower the temperature and allow the camera to take more pictures before it heats up. But only do this when u plan to take many photos continuously.
