btw, i have a question about QX10/100...

in normal compact camera, we use to snap a few shots, off it, walk to next destination, switch it on and snap a few pic again, and so on...

so for QX10/100, in this case each and every time when we switch off the camera and smartphone, the connection link will disconnect? when we want to snap a few shots again and switch on both units, we have to pair it again?

if u switch off camera n smartphone sure want to connect again , but if phone js in standby mode in dark screen then no need, js press the phone power button then uplock the screen then can used again , that's why i said this both like toy more then a camera, but photo quality sure very nice , hope next firmware will more better,haha

Regarding the problem with my phone (reboot loop after losing signal and restarting), the service center say they need to change the board... will take 2 - 3 weeks. Considering the phone is new and problem occur within 3 days of usage shouldn't they be giving me a replacement instead of repairing ?

oh yeah, sorry, i don't  really mean switch off the phone la. i wanted to say put the phone in stand by mode as what u explained. 

so for the camera? is there also a standby button on it so that we can save the battery when not in use? or it have to be on all the time so we won't lose the connection?

haha ...camera dont hv standby button, js can switch on n off only, u need to buy few more standby battery, js always on the camera then wont lose the connection, your phone still standby in the software then camera wont disconnect

Qx10/qx100 are not real camera. Still some flaw coz function limited. That is why i ask.

Who say hp camera cant win against real camera? Not most of them but still from hp camera can defeat them.

not tht heavy i guess, the cons i would tink of is probably scratches at the side (which i haven notice after 1 round removing it) but actually inside the bumper is padded with thin layer of rubber.

another thing is tht, u need to modify yr original magnetic cable/dock to fit it to charge, which mention previously in V4

the one i bought doesn't have the wording 'love mei on it .fits just nice,  didn't really find it bulky, 0.7mm. bought 3 of them, red, blue and black. doesn't cover the sim, sd card, and charging slot/magnetic charging. no problem charging with the dock, so no alteration needed for your dock. if interested, just search for it in taobao. bought it for rmb28.
