So little stock left and I'm incapacitated for a couple of weeks more lol (can't drive)... nooooooooooooooooooooooo

had my wife drop me off at Paradigm Mall... no FOC Grimmy at the TRU there .. sad T_T.

Guys what do you think? Is this worth getting in light of the damaged box?

I'm not a MISB collector as I intend to display it etc.. but with the damaged box I'm starting to think if the loose one is more worth it ? (I do however like the other accessories such as the brain cap, waiter apron etc etc)

Their stock is in their store/warehouse in China currently.

I've bought from X2O toys a feel times now.. their items are well packed and they are very responsive on their FB page.


Loose it seems only come with crown and sword. Don't have those stuff like waiter costume/serving tray, brain cap, coin.

I had quite a bit of G1 stuff back in the day.. they were well played, but my father during my college years when we moved houses, gave them away to an orphanage.

The toys given away included (that i remember playing a lot of) G1 predaking, bruticus, computron (if i recall divebomb had one hand borken though..).. most of the power masters, main characters from the g1 cartoon... starsaber, victory leo overlord, Sixshot.. it wasn't a complete collection but yeah.. For some reason, I have no pretenders or headmasters hehe...

Do i regret them being given away? I don't know.. I have no nostalgic feelings for them, in the sense that if you ask me to pay xx amount of money for a vintage over an updated mold that looks cooler for display..

For example, if you ask me if I were given the choice to only buy a g1 predaking (original release) over a feral rex... for me, Feral rex, no contest.

OF course it'd still be awesome to have them and maybe there are a few in one of the storage boxes from the old house but that hole is full of rat shit lol and i haven't bother to go scavenge. That said, I'm glad those toys went to somebody.


On more modern stuff... anybody have Smart Robin? Is it worth it?

Yeah I can understand some people having that. I mean I don't know why my lack of nostalgia goes to games as well.. I don't have this feeling of nostalgia some people get when playing older games from back in the day.

I remember when I was playing transformers last time, I was always thinking "If only this looked closer to the cartoon" etc hehe, but in a way, Predaking was my favorite toy back in the day... I was so sad when dive bomb's arm was broken by a friend.. and I guess partly the love for predaking was what made me preorder both feral rex and Ares hehe.. so I guess that can count as some feelings of nostalgia..

Hmm thinking of heading to either 1Utama/Amcorp mall during lunch time to grab something TF.. I'm working in Kelana Jaya grabbing a cab there not much issue but which one is easier to grab a cab from? hehe

yeah.. but my office is no where near LRT in KJ.. near the MBPJ stadium though.

Ooo fort max is actually one G1 thing that I want to get, when it came out last time, I couldn't find it for purchase in Malaysia (maybe my parents saw the price and hid it from me hehe). In my time, the most convenient shopping place to get toys was the Parksons in Atria/Subang Parade and the TRU in Subang Parade (I believe this came a little bit later) so not much options. I still want to get the Encore fort max but I think my wife will kill me hehe and it's not easy to hide!

Bought Smart Robin, loved it.. particularly how the body part transforms.

hehe not atm leh.. this month i got Diesel and hopefully Mp08 grimlock coming from x2o... my poor wallet... I'm really lucky this year that the Star Wars Winter 2014 lego sets are kind sucky or I got a version of the set previously...

Btw want to ask.. one of the "wings" on the back of my mania king, the joint pin drop already.. what can I get to replace it, anybody know?

Hehe true, but in general after RotF when they put testicles on devastator I don't really feel like watching them in the cinemas... I mean there is comedic element and there is just out of place stuff (like the racist cariactures of the twins)
