actually i didnt update to Kitkat yet, as im waiting for positive and negative reviews regarding the update. not to mention, one of the reason i dont update to kitkat is i planned to expand my storage but it seems like kitkat has changed the read/write pattern towards memory cards.

do you guys wash your phone? i only wash once every 3 weeks.

its not available in OTA yet.
use PC Companion to do it.

Ya, im 20 this year. When im still a kid, i still remember that i play my dad's nokia 3310 and the snake game. Those times are so cool till this era, where keypad phones are no longer common stuff.

Try do a factory reset as well or remove any apps that you think it is suspicious.

Seems like there are lot of issues with kitkat. Im planning to flash Google Play Edition next month, and share the differences and issues between stock and google play edition.

Not sure if thats the cause, but i will update to stock kitkat 1st and find issues. If no, means C6833 ROM is the cause.

I will still flash GPE anyway.

i dropped my naked XZU just now, from around the height of a table. i found the phone facing downwards which i thought i experienced the worst drop, but once i picked up, there is no scratches and the glass is still firm and strong. i inspected the aluminium frames and cant find a dent or scratch. IMHO, XZU is a very strong phablet, good job Sony.

now, time to update to KitKat.

i think its more than gorgeous.

anyway, it seems like the oleophobic coating of my anti-shatter film at the areas i constantly touched is degrading; its streaky and catches fingerprints easily. tried apply with automotive wax but it doesnt seems to help.

as demonstrated at MWC 2013, Xperia Z is also quite a tough phone. dropping it isnt a problem, but not advisable to drop it constantly.

should be manufacturing fault, as not all phones are perfect out of the factory. if you remember this adriansen guy on Youtube, he bought 3 (or 4 i suppose?) units of Xperia Z and ended up destruct all of them. not to mention, he declares the Xperia Z's screen is so cheap, if you know what i mean.

EDIT : and oh yeah, of all the phones he destructed, the frame is still remain intact and with small/not so visible dents. still a tough phone IMO.

I updated it. It seems like the movie player app now plays mkv files but it fails to read subtitles (maybe due to type of subtitles used). I felt phone a lot smoother and some settings that arent present in previous versions were added, like the white balance, theme settings and a little.more. You can now exit fullscreen like how you drag down the notifications bar. And now you have one touch settings, which is available on Xperia phones with kitkat. Bug fixes, built-in app experience and anything regarding android is still under testing.

A shot about the movie app plays mkv but not the subtitle.

i doubt about it too, so i tried. it wont work on plastic films.

will try to ask Sony Malaysia to replace the film for me at a price, as my unit is AP.

and yeah, i love sony touch sounds. sounds like im using a PS3.
