actually u no ned root for flashing custom rom ,

you need custom recovery to flash custom rom .

or via Flash tool.
However, beware on the rom which u want to flash , not all the roms are fit for our international ver p780 ,.

i had tried motoG , 4.5 inch vs 5 inch . your call.

performance wise, mediatek didnt lose much , GPS lock fast , bigger screen , bigger battery .expandable sd slot .

just that stuck at jellybean now.

if u love latest android update, by all means go for motoG .

normal usage ,i would say both will provide great android experience.

i just try out demo set motoG ,

i came from Gnexus (custom 4.3) to P780 (4.2,1 stock) feels greats now. didnt regret to sell off my gnexus for p780 last time .

you cant go wrong with p780 if u looking for great battery performance, no need mod anything ,just use it , easily 10hr Screen on Time with 2-3days stanby time. wink.gif
