Why so sad when ur P780 can still achieve 12½hrs SOT (3G, GPS & etc set to ON)??
Btw, maps + GPS will surely suck juice faster.
I don't think other phones can achieve not even half of that.
Surely u should not expect 20hrs SOT, rite?

s123 probabbly a bug fix. and for those who didn't notice, below s116 version they use v15 modem for ROW, for s116 and s119 they use v20 modem. for s123 its v23 modem. this modem helps if you have troublesome getting network/signal on your area. for example your area have umobile, but because of different freq of the modem, it registered as "roaming" or pinjam other network like celcom or maxis, when you corrected the modem, you will less likely be roaming and connected to your own network. in other word this is baseband. correct me if im wrong

tl;dr : s123 updated v23 modem.

Yes but still cannot, in service mode, baseband and IMEI also correct S135, just in the Android OS it shows up invalid IMEI and no baseband.

factory reset your phone/ or reflash stock s119 or rom originally it came with.
I did a backup of my imei incase of something like this happen, but it never did. I frequently change my rom
from ROW based rom to chinese based rom, my IMEI stick. the problem is your system might go haywire about the info. hope it helps

When at home i use wifi of unifi 20mbps plan, when outside i on/off data plan of celcom 1 malaysia. during class sometimes i got student wifi or i just switch to data plan because its so slow. my phone is hungry consumption. help, how to increase the battery life and more usage over a single charge.

Method to see the battery graph. Download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...roman.dashclock and then https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...shclock_battery , customize your widget on your homescreen with the battery thingie, and then just tap the battery icon on the widget, it will bring to you the stock battery app.

Anyway there's no flight mode. The last graph of empty sim/network because I turn off the data plan. My rom is actually vibe rom v1.0 build 1347 and not the stable build one. I have to enable data plan to send my smses. Too lazy to update to latest stable build 1411 but that just me.

Imagine a rom with a few bugs I managed a feat of 16hours sot, how about the stable ones? I can live with this minor bug doesn't affect me that much. If I turn on gps on this build, it will never turn off until restart. LOL.

To achieve more SOT;
Screen brightness; night + Screen Filter app, in a room lowest brightness, video/youtube is half/full brightness
Vibrating mode during class hours, and ringtone set to half, my volume if full is too loud I hate it
Close apps when you're done using it, using the recent task switcher
No greenify involved, no supercharger script involved because this rom is buggy and cant even enable init.d, or usb dev. i suspect the kernel is.

I might want to change to stable rom soon but just lazy atm.

One tips that might interested some of you, before this I use Umobile. The most SOT i got is 11 - 12 hours.
and then I switched to Celcom and I managed 13-16 hours. Why is this?
Because, at my area, Umobile is ALWAYS roaming. Kinda explained the battery drain on this one no?

hello.
need help here...

i just rooted my phone.
the reason is to remove the bloatware.
i accidently removed the classic launcher (system).
now, i am stuck at 'Lenovo For Those Who Do'.

FYI, i didn't do the recovery (CWM and TWRP)

Please help.

Thank you.

did you enable usb debugging prior to rooting? If yes, use adb push to push a launcher back to /system directory
im not fluent with android but i think its
adb devices - make sure your devices is detected
adb root - requesting root access
adb shell - accessing terminal under android/to access within android/phone
and i dont remember much about push, try google

you should know the only difference between 4gb and 8gb is the emmc storage. all the hardware is the same. if the custom rom having bug on 4gb model, it would be sme on 8gb model because of the same hardware. do note that custom rom is for other country and they might use different baseband(in this case it is modem) our official row rom is v20 modem. celcom might be the main problem if using other than v20 problem because mine is. I dont know about anyone else. hope it helps

i forgot to turn off my data plan. guess what, reaching 15hours screen on time with 13% battery left. I think I could go on average 15-16 hours until the very last usage.

Just a question, would charging the phone completely from 1% to 100% makes the battery last longer or , charging the phone when it reaches <20% or at 15% it pop up and ask to plugged in the charger. Which method is scientifically proven to be the best?

EDIT: it's 16 hours 45 minutes and 16 second screen on time at the last 2% battery.

Hi all, I bought this P780 last night but found out that the camera can't focus correctly, all photos taken are blur, anyone facing the same issue?
I'm so careless, didn't check the camera function before leaving the shop.

check your lense if there's something blocking. another side, try to take 2 set of photos, one is far focus, another one is macro focus ( close up ) photo. try it and share the photos here.
