From my opinion 4GB has more ROM to choose from compared to 8GB version. But some custom ROM do works on 8GB version.

Another important note. Some Custom ROM are based on China ROM, therefore, if you are on a International (ROW) based ROM, you will need to switch the whole ROM before flashing. Or else you might end-up having a bootloop.

Go to system settings > version infos. Check the baseband and build number. ROW means international based (S110, S116, S119, S123). If no ROW keyword then it's China based (S125, S129, S135).

Probably, but I am on Vibe ROM baseband version V52 2013/11/06 working perfectly on DiGi & U Mobile telco. Not sure about others though. If you facing signal issue, try change the modem/baseband version.

No, just use the phone until < 20% then only charge.

Ensure always use full cycle charge to prolong battery life. And don't use the phone while charging unless it is necessary to do so.

I ALWAYS charge my phone when the battery is less than 20%, full cycle can prolong battery life from my opinion. UNLESS need to go outstation then it cant be helped. Because my previous phone is a Galaxy Grand, now my mum using. I always charge it when the battery less than 20% and will not let it overcharge. Now after a year the battery life still last as long as new (of course it is not bulged too).

And I will leave my phone alone when charging, means I won't use it. UNLESS it was really necessary like phone calls.

Charge it when it pop-out connect your charger < 20%. Usually 3 hours will done the charge, and not recommended use the phone while charging. And make sure do not overcharge it (charge overnight) although it have built-in power cut feature after the battery is full.

I will always charge < 20% battery and won't let it overcharge. Maximum charging time 3 hours.

I only charge when the battery is below 20% then charge untill full. Normally it takes 3 hours to fully charge the battery if using Lenovo 2A charger. Means once it reaches 100% I will unplug it.

Yup +1 for the design, Samsung too fat already. Last time my Grand also a bit hard to handle.

Charge more than 90% and it will reset.

You can upgrade the look of P780 on par with S960 by updating to Vibe X ROM
