It is hard to say which is better. It all depends on your taste and how you gonna use it.. Both prices vary not much.

but just six roses can a white background, it look abit empty..
u should put some leaf under the roses, coz the 5 "batang"..really looks empty.

Yesterday I went shopping for the FZ-7 around Bukit Bintang area. I didn't find any of the shops at Sg. Wang suiting my taste and needs. Low Yat was slightly better but that was only the Foto Shangri-La shop.

Next went over to Berjaya Times Square. A few shops like MyKamera gave me the standard price of RM1799 (everything included).

Foto Flash's offered price was RM1600 with 1GB card but no tripod. Then another shop Nepmatic gave me RM1300 (whole camera kit only excluding card and tripod).

I was pleasantly surprised by the RM1300 but I have my doubts too. After all, it could be a reconditioned set for all I know.

The last shop I went to was Bintang Maju. The fella told me it costs RM1900 there.

Therefore I would like to ask... did anyone buy his or her FZ-7 from Berjaya Times Square? What do you all think of the shops listed above?

hum....i dunno anyone had bought their FZ7 at time square or not. but mine bought at sg wang. rm1680 with pana 1G SD card,screen protactor, lumix hard case only.

kevin bought on PC fair, rm1600 with pendrive 1G sd card, sd card holder, and a third party soft case.

we both get a lao ye tripod for rm20.

the lastest fz7 member was Gilthoniel, rm1700 with big tripod,Screen protector,casing,and extra original battery.

so i think Gilthoniel had the best offer.
so what do u mean in "everything include" ? state the MyKamera package that they offer?

my own opinion: lau ya tripod can forget it,get a better tripod. get an extra original batt, outside selling around rm180. it worth if they offer u. sd card can simply get at LYN for any brand.

i found out that Ebay selling very cheap...their package include tele and wide conversion lens oso....which these 2 lens will cost u a boom in malaysia.

The "everything included" package is the camera + accessories, 1gb card and a tripod.

Actually ya it's true I can forgo the tripod and hunt around for one. The Nepmatic fellow offered me a tripod for RM40 (original price stated there RM80+).

Interestingly, the FZ-7's price sticker at Nepmatic was originally labeled as "RM1888", and when I asked, he told me he is willing to give me RM1300 best price, but no card nor tripod (which I can source for externally at LY). Extra battery going for RM160 only if I buy the camera cos the usual price is RM260 or so.

Of course he was really honest in saying that those RM20+ tripods aren't really of good value (sorry, hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings ya. If I did I apologise ) and recommended something at least RM40 and above.

FZ7 in 1300...really great deal. u should confirm izzit a underwater or recondition. mayb is is the demo set..so they sell cheap.
if really original,u can go for it.

mayb the cam is belong to the boss and he wanna let go so jsut sell cheap lo but still give the warrenty 1 year under their shop..i not sure la..just my 2cents....

the 1300 izzit the cam body only? without the original batt? i think u hv to confirm this.

go and test on the cam lo...c wheather got any defect or not lo.

becareful of the shops in times square. The last time I went there to get a Casio Exilim with my friend, one of the shops (sorry I can't remember the name) gave me a good deal but I ended up with a Japanese parallel import unit.

I cut off the leafs coz they were really ugly... hehe. WHat I should have done was sprinkle some water on the flowers... but nemind la... was just playing a fool.

oh..u sprinkle some water on the flowers ar??!! if u sprinkle so water on it than u shoild get closer abit, to do a macro shot on the watera and rose...

haha...i think no need so heavy 1 kua. that day i saw 1 in sonystyle, RM120+,it is light but solid....very good.
the cheap tripod i really sux...i twisted hard but still cannot get the cam angle right..
bring back to hometown la...although is cheap but still a tripod...
for indoor low light..i think u may need the flash...so the tripod just in case only..who know's it may come in handy.

** oh..first day hari raya, got a trip to white water rafting...who interesed???
