QUOTE(Xirality @ Nov 22 2013, 11:04 AM) Nothing to dream. It will be that price one day. Plus it's not as low as below 1000. Well yeah, by that time nexus 6 will be coming out so if you dont mind getting something old then sure why not. Like now, nexus 4 is a good phone too atm. If you are hoping the local set price to go down that low at time soon, then its impossible. Best option is to get from australia, ordered mine already. Estimate will cost around RM1.3k This post has been edited by infernoaswen: Nov 22 2013, 11:08 AM

QUOTE(Kissan @ Nov 27 2013, 06:20 PM) I'm using slim armor. One problem I'm facing is the power n volume buttons very easy to accidentally press inside my pocket. Gonna dig out that plastic buttons.Scared later press too much the buttons spoil like my stupid fruit home button. Seems like many people are facing this issue with the power button, maybe I should just get ultra hybrid then edit: nvm, seems like ultra hybrid also facing same issue. QUOTE(wailinchong @ Nov 29 2013, 12:35 AM) Which reshipping service you used to malaysia? Will it be safe to be charged at custom? Gonna use fedex. I am not sure about that, we will have to wait & see.

QUOTE(Hianz @ Nov 29 2013, 09:13 AM) Hello guys, Who has experience if some one order the N5 from Australia but the shipping address is in Malaysia, will the N5 hip to Malaysia? If possible do I need to pay tax or any charge? How much? Thanks. No, you cant ship directly to malaysia. You do not need to pay for tax but you will be required to apply for sirim sticker if kastam holds your unit. 1 sticker can apply for 3 phones. RM100 for sirim.

QUOTE(Najmods @ Nov 29 2013, 08:14 PM) There are various other sources where those seller got their sets from. US, Korean, HK to name a few. Aussies isnt the first to get it anyway. Of course if you been reading threadtitle with 'problems' on it it for sure you will get it. From those number it is small relative to the numbers LG sold. Dont expect everything is sunshine and summer day, but if you being delusional about defects, every single consumer product got lemon units once in a while. Just dont lose any sleep because of it. Exactly, when first asus ux31a came out also many users reporting problems here & there. There was a thread that reached 100 pages with discussion on the problems they faced. Even after reading, I decided to just buy it when it just released & never regret my decision till today. Its still working fine without any problems. So my point is, anything also sure got lemon unit. If you want to get locally because you are afraid regarding warranty then its up to you no one is stopping. I decided to get from aussie because price difference is more than RM500 so I dont see the point of paying an extra RM500 just for local warranty. I rather take the risk, even if my phone encounter any problem I still can send to LG to repair it, I doubt it would cost more than RM500 or else just ship it back to aussie which might cost less than RM100.

QUOTE(djlah @ Dec 1 2013, 07:03 PM) mark up from $49.99 is of course, but RM300 sound expensive for me . nvm, it's optional, wait for price drop Nexus 4 charger when released dark devon was selling for RM260, so RM300 isnt that high considering the fact they have ready stocks. Its business, not charity. Need to consider the fact that he provides excellent customer service too, 1 month warranty (shipping all covered by him) and after that period shipping to US covered by buyer & back from US covered by him. This includes nexus devices as well. A lot other sellers over here selling japan units etc at same price as him but do they provide such warranty service? I doubt it & he is selling D821 models for RM1.6k, same as other sellers here but easier to claim for warranty.

QUOTE(C-Note @ Dec 2 2013, 12:05 AM) actually i still don't understand the point of wireless charging with a wired dock.. Depends on how you use it I guess, like for me I usually sit infront of my pc and phone will be on my desk while my plug socket is under the table. By using the dock, all I need to do is place the phone on the dock & it will be charged automatically. Every time I leave the house I can be confident that the phone is on full charge. If dont have wireless charger then I need to remember every time to plug the wire into the phone & I sometimes forget to do that lol. Again depends on individual la, but then its too expensive for a charger so I'll pass

QUOTE(Shirleykame @ Dec 2 2013, 01:02 AM) so tempting to get one! would 16gb sufficient enough? hmm or go for 32gb... Depends on personal usage, I currently have 16gb sd card in my phone & used about 8gb only so yeah for me 16gb nexus 5 should be more than enough. For others maybe not if they installed a lot of heavy games & store a lot of songs, movies etc..

QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Dec 7 2013, 02:38 PM) macam taik la weh... rendah gile kot... baru keluarkan dari poket terjatuh, pastu angkat phone tengok retak... WTF? GNex aku jatuh 10kali dari kepala aku pon survive... Definitely NOT going to recommend this phone... screen+digitizer is USD200.... Let me quote this, I think you might remember this quote. QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Dec 1 2013, 10:52 PM) No scratch as yet. I didn't use any screen protector or casing. Feels like if i use casing, the premiumness of the phone missing.
