guys

how do i know if my air filter is secured or not? (eg: how to detect abnormal sound/performance lost? need to be on high rpm?)
if i try to move the air filter element and it can't move does this count as secured?
from the 1st page guide, you can only see it if the filter is not installed, however when you install the filter it covers the 2 "hooks" so there's no way to tell if the hooks are secured properly

also does anyone know why proton/Mitsubishi (dunno who did it) cover the fuse box with masking tape?
since mine mid 2012 production car and only collect on year end 2013... the masking tape's adhesive basically degraded and fused on the plastic surface. took me a while to remove it using goo gone (from ace hardware)

Ok guys finally pulled off the Flip Key project which i had in mind for quite sometime. It's done n works like a charm. Its a very simple DIY and u can c youtube videos before u start.

Procedure :

1. Go to locksmith and ask him to cut the key which comes with the flip key housing according to ur stock key. (Mine was done in under 2 min and charged 10rm only)

2. Unscrew both stock and flip key housings. Take out the ignition chip and the main chip from stock housing and place it into the new housing.

3. Put the new key into the housing in open position, install back the button and spring. Put the back cover, rotate it 2 times in anticlockwise direction and close it then screw back the entire housing.

4. DONE.

I ordered 2 flip keys so got one extra with me if someone is willing to take jus PM me. Can order more from the supplier upon member request.

you will hear the difference when u throttle/rev if the air filter is not properly placed.

mine also came with the masking tape. now still have the residue which i did not really clean it up after tearing it apart.

Mine was removed by the guys at TT.. they mocked me on why I still have it on.. I remembered them clearly..

some prefer to have it on. i still saw some who still have it sticked when i service my car. but their tape is in good condition.

got... i paid RM6,250.15 extra for special features..

i think i at most will fill 2 slots - asc and headlamp leveling. rest of the items don't really need lol

your car still have leveling switch? mine 15xxx no more switch.

don't have, will need to buy the switch and probably re-do the wiring

How to know the chassis number? And btw, need to install switch only? that can use it ? motors already come in the headlamp?
