Oh this is 'interesting'. I suggest to bring your complaint to U-Mobile and possibly follow that up with a complaint to MCMC if you're not satisfied with their response.
This did not use to be the case a year back, but I did realize within the past year that my prepaid internet ping gotten very bad till can't play games well. Before that no issue. I chalked it up to congestion, did not think there could have been a 2-tier system in place.
yes this was totally not the case for me a few months back this is why i have officially sent a complaint to umobile.
awaiting their response on this matter.

just to be clarified , did u mean
1. when ur fren using his postpaid broadband line "smoothly" , then u are having your prepaid UMI lines super duper sucks speed internet ?
2. u are getting back to very fast speed with ur umi plan at the same time IF your fren stop using its postpaid broadband ?
if 2. is applied, then what i can suggest is convert it into postpaid p50 with discount with me
if 2 is not applied then u may consider to replace your sim card and ask them reset the line, just try to see if any difference, no harm to try
1. yeah the times when my friend is using his postpaid line my line randomly disconnects and the speed is not to as par to his. IDM if the speed as not to fast as long as it is not interrupted but that is not the case.
2. well i do get much better speed when he doesn't use his postpaid but there is still some hiccups here and there such as disconnects as i've mention above.
I'll wait for the response from a Umobile official as i've already sent an official complaint.
If it is truly the case that postpaid users get a much better experience when surfing the net then I might just consider changing to the postpaid plan.
Thank for your offer.
