Looking 5.1 channels like Samsung too. The Samsung HW-N650 is around RM2k.

No it is bad. Very bad. My 2w speakr from monitor sounds better than that. N the bt2100 build quality is bad too

main purpose for movie, prefer strong bass and wireless as Sony HT-RT5.( poor cable management, lol)

RM2k enough for decent AV receiver and speakers if you dont required wireless connectivity. Upgradeable part by part in future.

Soundbars are not really a comparable replacement for AV receivers and the associated speakers, but more akin to a compromised lifestyle option. If buying a soundbar instead of the AV receiver then also not bother with the home theatre room either.

A typical floor standing speaker, it come with 3-4 different size front speakers which to handle different HZ of sounds much better. So it can produce more range of sounds as compare to all-in-one speaker. Beside that, more trebles and bass even just with front speaker 2.0 setup only. I went to Samsung roadshow at 1U last few week ago to experience their expensive soundbar, the quality not up to my expectation as the price to pay for. But if house space are limited and expected less wires, sound bar is the better options.

Just think back on another side, those specialized audio shop usually display AV receiver even though selling soundbar.

but truly wireless real surround is significant advantage.

Yupp i personally prefer real 5.1 speakers surround. But not too keen with batteries.

Yup i know HT-Z9F got Atmos, but for normal day use is it worthy to have Atmos features? Some more, HT-Z9F only 3.1 channel unless buy the optional surround.
