Did you tried mounting the phone into something? Say, a small tripod?

From the video, if you're holding the phone on the table and using a finger to maintain the balance then yes, the phone itself will get some vibration hence the OIS kicks in and for sure you will see some shaking when zoom (digital zoom at that).

When using a DSLR to take a timelapse/long exposure shots, the photogs would usually use a remote because you cannot trust your hands and the holding the shutter tend to gives in some shake hence it would be wise for people to mount their camera on a tripod, frame the shot, use a remote to trigger or use timer.

actually i mount it using my small tripod but it still shake. so i try reocrd another video by lay it down on flat ground (table) and full zoom to see if its shake or not, guess what it shake. then i contact nokia people asking about this matter and they said mine are not normal they said i should change the parts.

so today just few hour ago i send my phone to nokia care at jalan imbi, when the person see the shaky video and simulation she confirm it shaky. she tried with their device, she said their own device sometime shake (really really minor shaky compare to mine) and sometime not. when i test their device and compare with mine clearly can see the shaky camera of my device and their device looking good!

she said they will order the part and change it then test it. if the new part shake also the will use back the original part back. that time in my mind i go furious thinking wtf so stupid are you coz you already clear that you can see the shaky camera and every camera should not shake on their own. doh.gif vmad.gif mad.gif

but then im jst accept their decision and will wait for their call and update.

sorry for my english.

Well, hopefully they won't shaft Malaysian users in future deals/products then, seeing as we are a big market for them.

Latest software release for Nokia Lumia 1520 is 1028.3534.1347.2001
The availability of this update may depend on your network service provider. To check for updates, on your phone, tap Settings > phone update

Why when answering calls we need 2 gestures?
Swipe up then tap "Answer"

On Android and iOS is just one swipe to answer, simplier and cooler.

Why WP8 sux here...
