I'm regret on this Lumia - - This is quite disappointing experience compare to my last Lumia(720 and 710). This 1520 lag all the way. even I typing and surfing web,it lag like hell - - I wonder it is defect unit or it work like that.
I swipe the phone,it took it as touch - -
I surf apps store typing,the words delay 3 seconds
I surf lowyat forum,it keep stuck in IE
I tried UC browser,same thing lagging

I seriously disappointed on this phone already sigh..

I'm nokia and WP fans since the beginning of Nokia Lumia series. My family member all using Lumia phones but this indeed different case :S  I wonder how to solve the problem I having :S

I knew you would feel laughing on me switch from Nokia Lumia to Iphone but this phone seriously spoiled my experience towards windows phone :S

As what my experience on windows is lag-less and smooth phone,it has the fluidity feeling but not on this phone :S

I also don't know can now. I think during the days 920 when i first bought have to factory one.

Guys,I just installed apps like Nokia Camera,Dictionary,Battery,camera360,lumia system updater,metrotube,youtube HD,whatsapp,wikipedia and UC browser. but the phone started to lag already - - how many apps do you guys install? I had blocked all the background task but still it laggy - - not so responsive,same as what I had bring the phone back at the first day. I asked the Nokia there,they keep ask me do hard reset only - -

just now picked my phone at ncc. now the camera no more shaky.

done some testing.

in af mode: low light enviroment. shutter speed 4sec = pic kinda blurry

in manual focus mode : low light enviroment. shutter speed 4sec = pic really sharp.

could be software problem?  using nokia camera

Guys what is your discharge rate? Mine is 8.x with surfing lowyat and no background task and no multitasking..

Guess Nokia had no idea how to control Snapdragon 800.

Basically whatever I do with my 1520, FB, IE, Metrotubing to name a few, I can basically few heat from upper camera part of the phone almost instant. Not really intense heat but really uncomfortable to hold horizonly. Basically I don't really feel those on Note 3.

1 more thing is about charging, sometimes it detect charger within 3 sec, sometimes in 30 sec and sometimes it doesn't and I had to reboot phone (happened once only).

Wondering how u guys comment about yours?

Well I didn't game too much, just purchase Asphalt 8 for some test compared to Android and yes it play smoother but freaking heat up very fast till the game close itself (and I only goes through a race)

About charging, no idea, had to observe for a period, if kept on like this, might send to NC.

Waze is using OpenGL to render the maps while WP8's Waze is using Direct3D, I suspect this is the cause of battery drain.

Because of MS's ego on Direct3D and zero support for OpenGL which is why the cause of sluggish performance and battery performance.

So the current use of Waze is just for you to check traffic, not for navigating.

if u really worry whatsapp notification delay, then use android or ios....

we explained many times, no more issue on notification delay...

i have the same problem.

i also noticed that if your 1520 is charging and you try to shut it down....the phone will restart itself automatically.

am thinking of sending my phone back for warranty claim - too many auto restarts issues

I tested switching it off first But i noticed phone will restart once i connect to charger

maybe it is the CSS style in mobile version. Anyone got the same problem?

1 thing I notice very weird on windows phone if u use h+ and lte it drain intensive of battery life but on android if I get stable h+ my battery life improve.

If I use 2G I get bad battery life.
