I flash custom 4.3 ROM...from my previous BMG5 4.2.2 firmware.
You can check Knox from download mode...refer to 1st page for more details

Am using 9505 version bro and the Knox behave differently between 9500 and 9505.

Check your SELinux status whether it's enforcing or permissive,
Then check at download mode whether got Knox flag or not.

Basically if your SELinux is still permissive and you have no Knox flag...then you're safe to do any rooting and flashing.

Then you can safely root your phone now. Use CF-Autoroot is the easiest way. Unfortunately there still no way to reset binary counter for the 9500 version so literally your warranty will still be void if you root your phone sweat.gif

Yes..no problem with Odin.
Only thing is...you cannot downgrade your firmware to old non Knox bootloader. The flashing will fail without reason..lolz

For manual flashing..you need to download the latest M'sian full stock firmware from Sammobile.com.
Then you extract the firmware zip files to .tar.md5 files and then you flash it using Odin.

btw..flashing stock firmware does not need any rooting

There's no button for gyro calibration. It's auto adjust by the phone..either the phone pass or fail the test/calibration.
You can check or start the test via dialler *#0*# under 'sensor'.

To those 9505 user that already have root but still 0x0 Knox can try to update any new stock firmware by using MobileOdinPro app in order of keeping their root and 0x0 Knox intact. This successfully done on Note3 which I believe will bring the same result for S4 9505.

**try at your own risk..am not responsible if you trip your Knox.

Try reflash the CF-Root then reboot.
If still problem then you need to reflash your previous stock firmware before you root it again.

Initial boot take quite sometime but shouldn't be more than 10 mins. If the phone still fail to boot up..take out the battery for a minute then put it back. Go into stock recovery and do factory reset.

If stilk fail..reflash one more time the stock firmware.
