guys... sorry again... wakelock questions again from me...

i have my SOT 16mins... But phone awake is 2hrs+

CPU wakelock (total) = 20mins+

what is preventing my phone deep sleep?
*
how should we know doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif we're not your phone.

use walelock detector or BBS to check anything that keeps your phone awake.

that is exactly my question. how to know what is preventing my phone from deep sleep.
my CPU wakelock (total) 25minutes
Wakeup triggers - not sure how to change this number to time rclxub.gif
screen wakelock - only like 20secons

this is why i asked because the total awake is 2hrs++ but from the wakelock info nothing shows the 2hrs.

Wonder if anybody can help to answer my doubt.

wakelock detector = go to CPU wakelock and bam, you get what prevents your phone from sleeping.
BBS = go to partial kernel wakelock and bam, you get what prevents your phone from sleeping.

Thanks bro. Appreciate your quick replies.
Last kopek... CPU wakelock shows 17min for the most usage (exchange) total up is 25mins. Does the 17mins can cause the phone awake to More than 3hrs? Just curious. Thanks again.

look how many time it had been triggered. 432 times. and also, that must be caused by sync. just turn off your sync and you're good to go.

I just helped my friend out with his note 3 yesterday.

Here are basic things

1 : go to calender , setting calender and untick everything
2 : turn off gps at main setting
3 : go to clock , swipe left on top of icons and press the last icon , turn off every of that shish.
4: turn off sync
5 : turn off every of gesturshish
6 : turn off palm motion .

Thats all I can remember and now he is super happy as he used to get battery drained down to 30% from 100% within 5 hours.

Now I think 5-6 hours sot.

Checked the temperature. It's 36.7. I guess it's normal.

This phone is quite thin, that's why i can feel the heat. Thanks. Overall, i'm satisfied. From Samsung Tab 2 to this phone. smile.gif

Not me. Have you tried sensors test ?
*
Yeah it's working on the test, screen goes green and vibrates. The sensor is actually working perfectly while i place it on my ear, the screen blackout. Just that the screen doesn't reappear right after I'm done with my calls. z

this may be true or not, but based on my experience,
well sometimes, the sweat on your ear transferred onto your phone's screen. hence, the phone still thinks that its still near to your ear.

or

it could be the infamous 'phantom touch' ?

or

your firmware is pretty much buggy :lel: try factory reset :S
