I went to the stone emporium and bought Blastoinite for 10k(yeah, I maxed out my stylish points) but I can't somehow get Venusaurite or even Charizardite X after waiting 24 hours. Must I beat the Elite Four first then only I can get the rest of Kanto's mega stones?

you can buy 1 mega stone before elite 4 and 1 after elite 4. But you cannot buy Charizardite X if you play version Y.
