just now I try to renew car insurance through motortakaful website. NCD entitlement 25% for year 2012 car. all together abt RM900++ only. after credit card payment successful then wait for a while it come out this message.



what is the reason for this ar? summon problem?

Why not call their call centre and find out yourself? You'll get the answer straight away instead of guessing

already called. but they say that they need some times to find out. so I wonder what is the reason for that la. not summon? coz I think summon only is the renew roadtax part?

Yep, theres nothing to stop you from buying insurance. Summons will only prevent you from getting ur road tax renewed

same case with me last week. i just go to pos malaysia and renew road tax..no issue though..

Same with me earlier this month. The insurance agent got a message "Owner not found" and i could not renew my road tax. Call to JPJ and they say "under investigation". But did not say what.

I went straight to JPJ and check. Their old JPJ computer system, says no problem, no fines, no transfer or ownership or anything. But the new system which is called MYSIKAP says i did not clear insurance. Of course! Then called the company that does the transition for them and then they say JPJ backend did not update system. So end up 3 days of constant calling to JPJ later, then only insurance can clear.

So your problem might be like mine. They did not do their job. Their JPJ staff HQ is even more crappy. They say to go to UTC. The integrated gov services center. I onder what kind of help would that be when it is clearly JPJ's fault.

First go to website and check if u have summons in PDRM or JPJ. Then call up JPJ (Putrajaya HQ) and say u cannot renew insurance because of some error in their system. U need to check with your insurance company also just in case.

manage to renew it. is jpj department server down. already renew. just that without the roadtax sticker which take few working days. anyway the officer say just printed the receipt and show to any authority will do when requested. quite cheap renew online, insurance 900+ and roadtax 90+ include delivery.

It was down after transaction. Anyway, the problem solved. I called the customer care and now i got renewal insurance cert already.

hi, it's me again after 1 year since I create the thread asking for insurance renewal stuff.

so now I renew it quite late, expired on 1 November 2014 and today only I renew both insurance 800+ and roadtax 90+. since it take few working days to deliver the roadtax sticker, let say if got block and I was accused of my roadtax expired, can I show them the receipt of both insurance and myeg (roadtax) and they will accepted that?

btw, the current issue I face is I renew today 30 Oct when the expiry date is 1st Nov 2014. since I renew online, it take a while to deliver to me. so let's say I got caught no roadtax sticker, is the roadtax payment receipt is good enough for them to accept that I had renew?

Expired means expired, no ifs and buts. Unless he good mood day and has piap-piap last night, then maybe let you go.

Dun belip you go find JPJ roadblock with expired roadtax and show your e-cover note.

If it's not saman, then either insurance company server problem or JPJ server problem. This is flaw on online IT system, either 1 got glitch, your details will not be able to delivered and you will have to wait the next day. Insurance company will have to redo another Cover note for you with JPJ verification successful. Only then you can renew road tax at post office or JPJ.

yesterday renew the roadtax it seems successfully charge my credit card. mean confirm got roadtax already right? pending delivery if like that. so will use the receipt of roadtax online payment as proof while traveling. in case got tahan by police can show that as "temporary roadtax"?

Where did you renew your road tax? At post office or JPJ? If it's successful, they will sure pass you the sticker for windscreen. If you have that, it means you're done.

renew via online. anyway I got it next day. delivered to me. very fast. renew on 30 get it on 31 October.
