I also thought like that, only item more than rm500 will be tax. And in my case, it's about 30%, it's a lot for me. Maybe next week I will go ask at local custom about my case. I never been taxed before, this is my first item got tax. Maybe it related with our current economy, they received order to tax whatever item received. And at same time my glass m around same value not been taxed.

Means ur item was tax duty fee of 20% + 10% sales tax. Did u see ur tax declaration form? U can check the HS code for the product. It's not because of bad economy u got tax, custom will only tax u according to the HS code declared by sender. |
