i think i ady story here,but nvm,ok actually my phone got purplish camera issue,and then i didnt go claim waranty,later when i suddenly broke my glass (lcd),and i decide to claim waranty on camera n pay for the lcd,they refuse,and they accuse me causing the camera problem.

another thing,they quote me rm 960++ for LCD+CAMERA+battery back cover,and then i refuse to pay and decide to go for tribunal.yesterday senQ guy called me and explain the current situation,whch is they still didn't repair my glass because HTC technician still urge me to repair on back cover ,actually there is nothing wrong with my backcover,only small dent on bottom side,and i still don't know what is the issue as they alrdy hold my phone for 2 month ! hahahhaha

does this phone still have purple tint problem if i buy now?

If you got the One without the purple tint problem, you sure are the lucky one I tell you 

Depend on your luck . Some users reported problem only surface after a few months of use n than the frustrations begin

4.7 is perfect size, use note 2 before abit too big,
battery i heard it was great before updates although not as good as note but still not bad
red color
but the camera is really turn off
btw benny im thinking of lenovo s930 and htc one
lenovo have dolby speakers htc got boomsound
which better? nver had a chance to test lenovo
the screen is huge at 6 but i think thats the cheapest and best phone i can get for my budget now
note 3 is out of my budget
still using iphone 5.. but still lovin it..

If you don't want S930 for the big screen better find something else. Even the K900 is way better price than HTC One. So much choice if you were to pick Lenovo. 

Just go for it..the purple tint can be fix by just sending it to the sc..and if u're lucky u won't
even have the problem..and as for the battery, just install a custom kernel.. I'm using elementalx and the battery life is amazing.. 4Hours and 12mins on screen time with 26% to go..

k900 design looks bit ugly imo
and speaker for sure cannot beat boomsound, and one thing that makes me think about getting a lenovo is there are not much video i can find on youtube bout lenovo phone i wanted to see s930,p780 there is but not much, i can't find a proper review of lenovo phone

i also dont know how to root and all this custom rom thingy
managed to root some xperia and nexus but didnt take advantage of it as installing custom rom and stuff because the instruction i found in xda is alot,too many to read and confusing and i heard htc the hardest and doesnt seems that easy as jailbreak iphone?i did soft brick my xperia z it boot loop when i install speaker mod..

I have sent my htc one to sc for repair, the purple tint issue..it took 3 weeks to 1 month and TBH i'm not very happy with the service..but once i got back my phone, it's nicely repaired..and i unlock the bootloader, rooted it and s-off..installed a Google Play Edition rom and now it's a metal nexus..couldn't be happier..premium hardware and great software, great combination in my opinion..it is a little bit harder to root HTC devices but if u have a little bit of knowledge about ADB it shouldn't be hard..just go youtube and search for step-by-step tutorial if you're unsure..

Now I`m getting fed up...........
