QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 6 2013, 12:06 AM) yeah i found them already but i dun get the 10m and 20m thingie Always get them in a bunch so that you can change left, right, middle and other buttons in a go. Cause if you only change one, the switch may have different properties, clicks and distance and bla bla from other switches, which make your mouse now awkward to be used. Different models of micro switches have different properties. Some omron or cherry one can even cost 20RMB each. This post has been edited by Human10: Nov 6 2013, 12:15 AM

QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 6 2013, 12:14 AM) yeah, that's what i planned to get if i'm getting...doesn't make sense to buy just one switch LOL! but before that, i'm gonna try this first http://www.instructables.com/id/Repair-mou...oblem/?ALLSTEPSLol, opening micro switches may not be a good idea... If you really too lazy to buy new switches, you can take the middle click switch and replace with the left click one. Most of the mice have same type of switches for left, right and middle clicks.

QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 6 2013, 12:22 AM) if buat rosak the micro switch then baru buy new switch lah gee...i didn't even know i had a DIY soul in me... only found out after i got mkb poison Deswai I say swap with the middle click first, at least the middle click double clicked still better than left click double clicked, lol. Ayam too paranoid to use a repaired switch, that i will paranoid whether it is same stiff, same clickiness, same response time and so on... I guess I had OCD on consistency, lol. QUOTE(antonio @ Nov 6 2013, 05:08 PM) Doesn't look like can fit my Filco, the Control n Alt like longer a bit I always see this skull keycap around...what so special about these skull keycaps? The transformer one looks cool.... There are Ducky G3 or IMSTO dyesub for dat. Though, it is ComingSoonTM IINM. The skull is made by clickclack, while the transformer is by Brobot. Both had became a collector item, that can easily cost over hundreds or even thousands... This post has been edited by Human10: Nov 6 2013, 05:51 PM

QUOTE(ejoeflizzow @ Nov 6 2013, 05:58 PM) Hi guyz, just a quick drop by to ask Ducky Shine 3 is it worth to buy? (need some kicks to proceed to buy but confuse either go for Ducky Shine 3 or just Ducky Zero Shine as my goal and backlit is important for me) If you like the bling bling mode, then it worth every penny. If you don't need those random bling bling mode, there are cheaper alternative. If you simply don't need any blacklit, there are much much more choices out there.

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Nov 6 2013, 10:22 PM) Desolder and replace with new switch. 45 mins Plus I change the center button, those things can only stand so few cycles. Fixed, I guess the 40 extra mins is to explore on how to disassemble the mouse and clean up, LOL.

QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 6 2013, 10:47 PM) where to get those switches locally? if i wait taobao...means have to wait until imsto's keycaps got stock also...and i dunno when's that so might as well just try repair lah... Even radioshack got them. Or those electronic shop. The price isn't going to be as cheap as taobao, but at least the shipping cost are minimal and instant stock. p/s: Local one mostly chapalang brand one, if want proper brands like Omron, Cherry or even Kailh (which is the infamous Cherry MX clone maker), taobao are your way to go. QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 7 2013, 03:21 PM) as mentioned by kai, once u have soldered in LED to the switch, plates that lets u swap switch stem without desoldering also got nullified by LED, since u can't open up the switch stem without first desoldering the LED. with that thought in mind, i could finally accept any plates. You should do the china style led mod, hot swappable led. Another guy even do a modular switches board, where each switch is hot swappable.
